Calling out "gee-haa" (or maybe that was only in the Hollywood version) the musher guided his team along woodland trails and frozen creeks to his destination hundreds of miles away. Why? Ahh, who knows why, but it does look like fun. It’s the kind of riotous fun anyone can have when they come to Whistler. All you have to do is click your heels together three times and say, "Gee-haa!". This is a unique experience you don't want to miss! Dog Sledding Tours On your arrival at the Dog Sled Base camp in Soo Valley, your "Musher" will provide a full interpretation of the dogs and tour procedures. The harnessing and the staging of the dog team is very exciting. You will learn how to harness dogs, command the team and ride the runners. Each sled holds up to 2 full size adults and 1 child. Included in the tour are the transfer from Whistler Village to base area and back as well as a drink and snack.
