A veterinary book that is truly for the farmer
This book is written in language and terms that farmers and other farm workers can easily understand. As a dairy student, it is an excellent book as a reference. It easily describes diseases and problems and offers color photos. The author focuses more on the prevention of the disease than the treatment, since treatments change over time. This will be a great reference for many years to come.

Very good knowledge base
We happened to come across R.W. Blowey while trying to get some knowledge about cattle hoof care. He made this very instructive video and in it this book was advertised - since we liked his clear and effective mode of explaining things we ordered the book and are very satisfied.
Blowey also wrote a book titeled: 'Cattle Lameness and Hoofcare'
He knows what He is talking about and can communicate it to others.
