Product Description
Linda Moulton Howe shares and analyzes her research findings surrounding accounts of crop circles, accompanied by lights and crackling sounds over the past 2 years. Linda interviews a biophysicist, a mathematician, a geologist, and other researchers to determine the authenticity of these accounts and whether these crop circles are a 3-dimensional language related to fractional math, geometrics, the Hebrew Kabala, or other symbolic mysteries, and what they could mean. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars An enjoyable romp among Britain's crop circles.
In this book, veteran UFO researcher Linda Moulton Howe turns her attention to the well-known crop circle phenomenon. In keeping with her UFO background, Howe focuses particular attention on the unusual light and aerial phenomena often associated with crop circle formation. There is also ample discussion of the chemical and biological effects of the crop circle energies on the affected biomass.

Profusely illustrated with dozens of black and white and color photos, the book explores the subject from the perspectives of modern science, mythology, symbolism, and the history of religion.(One caveat - if it is aerial color photos of spectacular crop circle formations that you are looking for, this book is not the best choice. There are only a few photos of the type beloved of calendar makers, and most of the photos are included either as "evidence" to make a scientific point or simply as snapshots of crop circle researchers and/or the quaint environment of Southwest England.)

This leads me to one of the things that I most liked about the book - the sense of adventure as Howe meets crop circle researchers from around the world as they converge on England in the summer of 1999.Thus we follow Howe to pubs for "bull" sessions about crop circles, and to nocturnal vigils atop misty hillsides.(And, if I may indulge a rather sexist comment, Howe is arguably the cutest researcher roaming the fields of England in pursuit of the riddle of the crop circles.)

An interesting addendum is a series of scale drawings or "surveys" of the major 1999 formations, as prepared by German researcher Andreas Mueller.Another useful addendum is a list of the names, addresses (both postal and e-mail), and websites of prominent crop circle researchers and organizations.

This book loses one star only because - despite her efforts to approach the phenomena from a scientific viewpoint - Howe is just a little bit too New Agey at times, a little too eager to jump to conclusions with insufficient evidence. But this is a minor fault, and others may reasonably disagree with my opinion on this.On the whole, I recommend this book as an enjoyable, first-hand account of fieldwork in pursuit of a modern mystery.

4-0 out of 5 stars Factsand theories
There are lots of opinions, both from skeptics and believers alike surrounding the phenomena known as crop circles. This book will not necessarily sway you one way or the other but it will add fuel to the debate especially for the skeptics. I agree with the good Dr. Haselhoff from the Netherlands, whose outstanding book, "The Deepening Complexity of Crop Circles, Scientific Research and Urban Legends," states that the question of"light phenomena" in photographs and the "plasma theory" a little out there.Contrary to some reviewers opinions regarding the ho-hum nature of the people relating their experiences I found the style down to earth. The peoples experiences make the book easy to read, personaland it touches you as being real. The mysterious unknown is brought down to earth by the ordinary. It gives you a sense of being there. The part of the book that explains the goings onand an historical overview of Glastonbury is very interesting, especially for someone like me who is on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. The history surrounding Chalice Well and the Vesica Piscis design is something that stimulates thought concerning the origins of the phenomena. The color photographs are very special. Since there are no answers to the origins of the crop circles this book does not really give one. What does seem to be evident is that some type of electromagnetic field is responsibleand that we are probably not rationally or scientically equipped to understand why they are showing up, let alone what they mean. Is it some type of communication?Yes, as the crop circles convey sheer beauty, magnificent symetryand mystery beyond our comprehension. Recommended reading for those that are interested in some beautiful designs that could have some deeper meaning.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Good Overview of the Anomalies Surrounding Crop Circles
This is one of the best books around for introducing readers to the weird anomalies associated with crop formations. As a veteran circle-researcher, Linda Moulton Howe is well qualified to discuss the variety of nonordinary phenomena that have long been experienced in and around crop circles. While we don't yet understand what causes these anomalies, Howe's book goes a long way in showing us that they are real events that are repeatedly experienced by crop circle researchers. Science has yet to explain these encounters.
In my view, Howe could have written more about the human element in the creation of crop circles and the anomalies they exhibit. And what is the relationship between the balls of light and human beings? Are these objects intelligently guided or are they just spurious electrical discharges? We don't have the answers for questions but this book establishes that these questions deserve serious investigation.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great information.
This is a very informative book on the crop circle phenomenon.I have not read any others so I have none to compare it to.However, the information and analysis presented in the book was enough to give me some ideas as to their origin, and recognize some commonality between the different types of circles.

It is liberally sprinkled with good illustrations and photographs(Albeit, some of them black and white...).

If you want to learn about crop circles and want a good balanced look at the phenomenon, this is a good starting place.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Book!
Fabulous book! I have always suspected that crop circles were real, and this book clinches it for me. The only negative side to the issue of crop circles is that all of those "vanished" crops could have been used to feed 1000s of people! These aliens (or whoever they are) seem very shortsighted. Higher intelligence? No way! Perhaps the crop circles only exist because hungry aliens are not bright enough to grow their own food! So what's the answer? All farmers should leave notes next to their fields saying "Do these crops look good to you, punk? Feeling lucky? If you take these crops you better pay for them (U.S. Dollars only, no currency from Andromeda)"! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Even-handed book on controversial topic
This is a thorough and well reasoned, and well-balanced examination of a phenomena that has excited strong feelings on both sides. (See the previous review--though its author appears not to be aware that the hoaxers he speaks of were unmasked as having exaggerated the number of sites they created--there are also significant differences in the sites they are known to have created and the "genuine" sites.) This book should be of interest to both believers and skeptics and to my mind presents the most thorough account to date.

1-0 out of 5 stars Crop Circle Hoax
The VERY FIRST crop circles were made by pranksters with ropes and boards. They have video taped footage of themselves doing it.Did the aliens then pick up on and improve on this method of "communicating" with pretty circles, or is it all just a big hoax that certain conspiracy addicts refuse to see?

Open your eyes.It's a joke.

5-0 out of 5 stars Spellbinding Stories
Lucy Pringle's Crop Circles is a unique collection of stories and anecdotes about peoples' strange experiences with crop formations. Anyone reading this book cannot escape the conclusion that crop circles are a mysterious phenomenon that create nonordinary perceptions and energy effects.
There are wonderful accounts of people who witness the spontaneous creation of these crop patterns, very similar to those told by researcher Colin Andrews. Anyone who thinks that crop cirles are merely exotic designs in the field needs to read this book.
Pringle discounts the idea, unfairly in my view, that humans might be involved in making many of these patterns.Nonetheless, the book demonstrates that crop circles are truly weird phenomena, not easily explained away.

3-0 out of 5 stars A good introduction on the subject
This is a beautiful introductory book on the subject. I recommend it if you still need to discover what crop circles are. Many pictures are really beautiful and left me speechless.
But if you already know something about crop circles and want to know more, this is not where you will find it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Photos......Poorly Researched
The author is an aerial photographer and took some gorgeous pictures of very interesting crop circles. But if you would like to know (as we would) answers to the important questions, this book won't help you.Like:Who made the crop circles? What do they mean? Why are they being made? What does the British Gov'tsay about these questions? How about the British Army? How about Prince Charles or the Queen? What about top British Phd's and researchers? The problem with this book is that the author has no access to top people in high places who might know something of value.

At first, the author did a good job explaining some of the theories. For example, one can tell a real crop circle from a fake, using five variables. Real crop circles have unbroken stems, are stretched and bent at the base of the plants, and leave an electromagnetic signature that can be measured with sophisticated instruments. There are three other variables the experts look for to determine a real circle from a hoax. They materialize out of nowhere in a matter of minutes. Some are 1500 feet in diameter. Unfortunately, Ms. Pringle did not tell us which crop circles pictured in her book were real and which were phony. This left us feeling like she wanted to mislead the public. We know that 80% of all crop circles are manmade (fake). The other 20% are unexplained. Ms. Pringle did not help us to learn which ones pictured in the book were not genuine.

For example, there was a photo of the most mysterious crop circle of them all (in our opinion), which is a glyph of ancient Mason Text from the time of Augustus Caesar. I saw this glyph shown on a television show, and some PhD's translated it. The glyph resembled the latin words "Oporto Apsos" which translates roughly into "we opose cunning and deceit." But Ms. Pringle didn't say a word about this glyph in the book! She had the picture in the book, but didn't confirm if the words were real or a hoax. She didn't give readers the translation either. So this made us feel like she was a bit slopply in her research. One would expect an analysis of each picture. Again, here is an example where we felt like the book was too vague.

Real crop circles display sophisticated elements of Euclidian Geometry, and some are related to musical composition. Ms. Pringle did not do an analysis of the Geometry, which really dissappointed us. I have seen Geometry analysis done by other researchers in this field and this is crucial information in understanding the special intelligence and perfection of workmanship displayed in a real crop circle. Lastly, Ms. Pringle devoted a good portion of the book interviewing local witnesses about various phenomenon. We didn't find this very credible. This portion of the book seemed unscientific, and poorly researched. The local witnesses came across as uneducated and superstitious. Their observations were sometimes silly and childlike. Some of the witnesses seemed to exagerate normal occurances. For example, a witness is sitting in the center of a crop circle in the pitch black of night, and suddenly hears footsteps and "strange" noises. The witness firmly believes that the noises are alien crop circle makers. Later on in the book, another witness from the same village speaks about deer, birds and other animals being injured in the crops. If you put two and two together, deer and birds can also sound like "footsteps" and "strange noises" in the night.

In summary: The book's photos left us in awe at the simplistic beauty and sophistication of the crop circles. But we wish we could have learned more. We are still as baffled as ever. ... Read more

Product Description
Based on the author’s decipherment of prehistoric carvings and the application of mathematical measurements, The Gods’ Machines shows how “unknown” phenomena from Angkor Wat to Stonehenge to crop circles are actually powerhouses built by an advanced extraterrestrial civilization for tapping electromagnetic energy. The book traces the development of that civilization on Earth over 5,000 years, revealing how all these structures are aligned according to a universal formula: an angle of 135 degrees at which Earth’s energy has been tapped by the alien creators of these monuments. These fascinating theories not only explain our distant past, but also open the door to a future of power technology and space travel.

Megalithic sites such as Newgrange and Stonehenge are constructed with quartz- and iron-rich stones with electrical conduction properties — minerals also found atop Aztec temple and inside crop circles. These stones, according to the author, served as dry cell batteries when heated and stressed, and supplied energy to the builders’ traveling vehicles. Most interestingly, the author has tested his theory on today’s crop circles. The Gods’ Machines is certain to stimulate debate among readers interested in alternative history, ancient civilization, and extraterrestrial intelligence. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Fascinating
An interesting theory, built on the back of prior ones, with a breathtaking world-wide scope. In a nutshell, all the megalithic monuments in our world, along with certain civilizations that blossomed quickly and mysteriously, only to die out (Angkor Wat, Mesoamerica, the Temple era of Egypt, etc.), were energy-creating complexes for extraterrestrial use, to tap electro-magnetic energies in the earth.
If so, these 'stations' were not holy sites, but were turned into such by the local people. All those he listed have mysterious myths surrounding their creation, obscured by the dimming of time and by the discounting of the local legends by outsiders and science.
I bought it because I'm interested in the megaliths of Carnac, in Brittany, France. I've never been a UFOlogist, but I'm willing to keep an open mind, and have to say the author is onto something here. What it will ultimately turn out to be, I don't know, but I'm willing to consider his far-ranging theory, as parts of it make sense to me (to be honest more sense than some stretched-thin, overlooking-the-obvious, scientific theories). I've always balked at the premise the megaliths were built by Stone-Age people (with life spans of perhaps 25-35 years) for the purposes of worship or calendar-making. Their lives were basic and focused on day-to-day survival. Very little remain of their residences and routines, yet they are assumed to have constructed these terrifically time-consuming rock edifices as places of worship or ritual. That never seemed to be the whole answer to me. This book's theory on man's part in it actually makes more sense to me, considering human nature, if you can just get past resistance to the idea of them being constructed, or influenced by, off-worlders.
This book is big, and filled with diagrams of the monuments showing the angles and layouts that are crucial to his theory. Parts of it have a slapped-together feel, especially near the end, as if he was running out of time and space. He used a lot of internet resources, and that adds to its slapped-together feel. In areas, there is a lack of cohesive narrative, as he presents diagram after diagram. This is why I gave it 4 stars. As time goes along, I'm not sure how his assessment of the meaning of the details will hold up, because it is such a new field, but in many ways the smaller details won't matter. He has been willing to tackle a very large subject, and apply some reasoning and science to it.
That being said, I still recommend reading it, as it is thought-provoking and fascinating. I wanted to see if he could carry off his theory, and I think he did a credible job. But this is a new field for me, and I have no background in it. It is good to read things that stretch our minds and broadens our mindsets. This is a book that will do that for you, if nothing else, so it will not be wasted, no matter your opinion by the end. And it *is* a fascinating read. I look forward to seeing how his research matures. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Sometimes big things come in small packages.
"Crop Circles Unlocked" seems to be a slip of a book.
But beware beneath it's little black covers it takes you to the bullseye of the truth about this topic and gives you "Joe public" a starting point to reference and learn from the topic.
Extraordinary healing processes, revealing new scientific data etc. have been revealed by these pictograms.Knowledge that can change your life...
Yes, Crop Circles are a genuine topic,Sherwood will lead you to believe,(if you are prepared to open your mind), revealing aspects of mathematics and science that are not in any textbook in the world.
I knew the author of this book Dr Jonathan Sherwood for 23 years.
He was my best friend and a mentor to me and many others and as a teacher an exhilerating, charming man, with warm English manner who could light up a room !
Take a ride through this topic with Sherwood and it will change your life.
Don't expect to understand everything he says because Dr Jon as we knew him was about 100 years ahead of this time, but he has kept things as simple as possible.
I.e. "The simple circle as depicted in these diagrams represents a singular sound wave."
The harmonic theories he intoduces us to classify all source energies into three mathematical catagories.
Simply stated these energies consist of a positive,a negative and a neutral.
By using his ground breaking math to decipher crop circles one is able to explore the plethora of knowledge the designs depict.A map of mankind civilization's future journey if we are to survive the changing times socially and environmentally

I have never met anyone(in my entire life) or even heard of a person living on this planet in this age who had as broad and in-depth knowledge so many subjects including mathematics and physcis, as Dr Jonathan Sherwood.
Get a start on this topic that so may so-called experts get wrong and/or sensationalize .No wonder many people think Crop Circles are false and all created by hoaxers.
We, a class in brisbane in 1987 watched as Sherwood filled up whole blackboards with mathematical equations, managing in the process to negate the pillars of Einstein's work, including E=MC squared.
Sherwood taught people believed in the "K.I.S.S." theory.
Which to you who don't know, is an acronymn for 'Keep It Simple Stupid' !
No one in the world could take such a profuse and baffling topic such as crop circles and simplify it in such a way that the masses could understand the truth about this strange phenomena.
Sherwood who held a doctorate in philosophy was also a former medic in the New Zealand Navy specializing in neurology and infectious diseases.
Learn from this book the basics and begin to understand more about the truth behind crop circles and how they can change your life.

New information from the co script writer of the crop circle DVD 'Signs A Warning' Fake or not this will stop you in your tracks and make you think.

5-0 out of 5 stars A work of incomplete genius!
Boy, did I love this book! This was the first crop circle book that I've read (among many) that skipped past the pedestrian "are they real?" and "how are they made?" questions and delved directly into the MESSAGE that the glyphs are attempting to convey.Ruby stumbled upon a new truth, in that many of the circles are actually diagrams and sets of instructions to explain certain scientific truths of the Circlemakers, including the shape of their ships, their power source, and the reasons why their ships are able to move in such amazing ways.I was completely intrigued, and I recommend this book to ANY person interested in Crop Circle phenomena. The crop circles are meant to be SPUN and analyzed at a much deeper level.

That said, I must say that I did disagree slightly with some of Ruby's analysis of certain formations, and I felt that a couple of the models that he created were only partially complete. However, this guy is REALLY on to something, and I devoured this book and enjoyed every moment of it.If only he had continued his work, we might be much farther along in our global understanding of the messages.

If you want to know what the circle makers are trying to convey to us, instead of wondering whether a couple of drunken Irishmen with no understanding of geometry could have created such astonishing formations, then this book is for YOU.I wish it had been 500 pages!Regardless of the brevity of the book, I suspect that a new generation of circle researchers will stumble upon this groundbreaking tome and become inspired with a bevy of new possibilities, new insights, and new understandings into the greatest mystery of the 21st century.Highly recommended.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent
Even if you dont believe in aliens or crop circles it is hard to ignore the math behind what he is saying. whether its true or not doesnt matter cause the math and science of the blueprints are based on basic principals.the craft in the book would work if we had the technology to build one.
I think people start this book with a bias against it and that prevents them from seeing that this is real.
scientist and scholars should read this book.
I only hope Doug can create a follow up book of any new things he has found. Looking forward to the video.

2 guys creating a 750 long and very intricate crop circle is totally absurd. There is now way they could create the very complex circles in one night. they can re-create certain ones but not the complex ones.

keep up the good work doug and please give us another book to read.

4-0 out of 5 stars Intriguing and original.
The Gift is a thought-provoking examination of the phenomenon of "crop circles" (glyphs or pictograms). By employing a novel and creative approach to understanding these images (derived from "common sense and intuition"), Ruby extrapolates from the two-dimensional glyphs three-dimensional models, with eye-popping results. Ruby concludes from his research that the pictograms originate from extraterrestrial entities. He believes the sequence of the appearance of these images are building blocks to man's understanding of messages. These messages have begun with a description of UFO's physical structure and propulsion systems. These glyphs provide ever-more information as they progress in complexity.
Whether Ruby's "decoding" is correct or not, it is facile to dismiss the reality of a true mystery. It is certainly correct that many of these "circles" are hoaxes. There was even a "crop circle making" competition in England. However, research by scientists like Charles Levengood and Nancy Talbott have shown empirically that "real" crop circles show changes at the cellular level (which can be replicated by short, intense bursts of microwave energy). There is also no breakage of the stalks of the plants, only bending. This cannot be done by hoaxers. Aside from that, the notion that two English geezers and copycats are creating thousands of such glyphs worldwide, showing complex fractal geometry patterns, and leaving no trace of their presence, is ridiculous. The recent (Aug.01) Chilbolton, England glyphs will sorely test the hoax hypothesis. Carl Sagan offered his biased, mechanistic view, conveniently ignoring that which did not fit; Jim Schnabel ('Dark White')seems to be more of a debunker than an open-minded skeptic. Both provide a convenient out for those who prefer their ordered and safe world view. If you aren't afraid to consider other possibilities, however, this work will deliver.

4-0 out of 5 stars Alternative Viewpoints
I heartily recommend this interesting book, which presents a refreshingly different perspective. As for the reviewer promoting Jim Schnabel's 'Round in Circles' as a solution to the mystery, it would be foolish indeed to jump to the conclusion that a known CIA agent is going to present the public with unadorned facts, given that government disinformation on this subject, media manipulation, and the 'Firm's role in it, is already well documented.

1-0 out of 5 stars Our Allegiance to What?A Hoax?

Product Description
Following on from the success of "Circular Evidence" and "Crop Circles: the Latest Evidence", this book presents the most recent developments in the unsolved mystery of crop circles. This book contains over 100 aerial photographs and groundshots - all in colour - of the latest manifestations of the crop-circle phenomenon, both in the UK and abroad. In the summer of 1991 the ever-increasing complexity of the pictograms took a giant leap forward when the Mandelbrot set - an intricate and extremely difficult to produce chaotic mathematical pattern - was created in a crop field near Cambridge. The implications of its appearance, which has been the subject of high-level scientific debate, are discussed fully, as are the results of research laboratory tests carried out on samples taken from crop formations on both sides of the Atlantic. Also included is a detailed account of the widely publicized affair involving claims that the circles were the work of hoaxers, as well as an exploration of the efficacy and validity of surveillance projects in the quest to witness and/or record a circle's creation. ... They appear seemingly out of nowhere; one moment a pristine field, the next moment a complex and mysterious design imprinted in the nearly ripened wheat. The stalks are bent, laid in swirls and patterns of mathematical precision and yet remain virtually undamaged. Some designs demonstrate principles of geometry while others portray ancient religious symbols. Skeptics tell us they're hoaxes, but no one can fully explain how these patterns are created with such speed and accuracy. Some even believe there are alien forces at work. The Crop Circles 2010 wall calendar features thirteen incredible crop circle photographs paired with fascinating information about this phenomenon by expert Freddy Silva, a leading researcher of crop circle occurrences and author of Secrets in the Fields: The Science and Mysticism of Crop Circles, published by Hampton Roads in 2002. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Crop Circles 2010 Wall Calendar
I always look forward to receiving my new Crop Circle Calendar each year. The selection of crop circles is excellent and the quality of the calendar is excellent!

2-0 out of 5 stars Not at all what I was expecting
I am not only disappointed with the selection, as a previous reviewer has already commented on, but with the poor quality of the photos.

2-0 out of 5 stars Love Freddy, but not all the best Crop Circles
Tho I'm very fond of Freddy Silva,
I am disappointed by about half of the
Crop Circle pictures he chose to
include in the 2010 Calendar.
There have been many more significant
ones, including some astronomical messages,
that I wish he had selected.
Sincerely,

3-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Photographs. Period.
I actually like this little hard cover book (just 5x7") quite a lot. It contains many, many colored photographs of some very lovely and intricate crop circles including some of the best close-up detail photos I've seen. The author clearly shares my deep love for these mysterious and mystical creations. The text was overly New Age for my taste and consisted entirely of "teachings" that Ms.Clarke was guided by Spirit to communicate. There are no comments about the symbolism shown in the crop circles. Instead there is a separate "teaching" to go along with each of the chosen photographs, such as joy, non-judgement, power, unity, harmony, respect, etc. All of the teaching buzz-words are good concepts and might be very useful for meditation or what have you. I'm not judging the concepts, but the little mini-essays that accompany each of the topics are not the slightest bit profound and fall short of the goal of actually "teaching" anything. Ms. Clarke terms herself a "croppie" and has spent a lot of time studying and visiting and guiding in the crop circles. Her writing shows her to be a sweet and gentle soul, filled with child-like wonder and the ability to go inward and reflect without judgement. If someone would have given this book to me as a gift, I would have been grateful indeed. It's lovely. I feel the price being asked for this book is way too high for what the book delivers, however. There are many other good books available with equally lovely photographs but with better and more useful text. If you are looking for information or details about the crop circles themselves, this book will not help you out. If it was bigger it would be a coffee table book, as it is, it is a high priced mini gift book. The photos are 5 star but the text is 1 star so I'm going in the middle with this one. 3 stars. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars The Truth About UFOs: XXX SORRY STILL CLASSIFIED XXX
I bought this book after reading one of his published articles on crop circles. This book is a collection of articles covering everything from megalithic structures to UFOs.Rob has been literally all over the world exploring these sites. Some of the chapters are research and some are his personal experiences. I did get somewhat bored reading the section on The Gods of Babylon, Societies of the Occult.I started having flashbacks of college. I give the edge to his personal explorations of these unexplained phenomena, my favorite being his trip to Sweden to experience the Sun Ship megalith, resulting in his nocturnal encounter with the probable builders.Overall it is very good read.

Product Description
Haunted Spaces, Sacred Places is a fascinating and thoroughly researched exploration of the archaeology, legends, and modern mysteries of 32 ancient places throughout the world--from the mysterious megaliths of Britain and Ireland, the haunted tombs of the Etruscans, and the Pagan origins of Germany's Aachen Cathedral to the ancient Native American city of Cahokia, the enigmatic Cambodian Temple of Angkor Wat, and the sacred Aboriginal rock formation of Uluru.

Why are strange phenomena so often connected with these ancient sites? Are certain sacred places somehow able to generate or attract paranormal phenomena? Or can such events be explained in terms of modern myth and contemporary folklore? What can the legends and folklore of ancient places throughout the world reveal to us about the beliefs and ideas of our ancient ancestors? These are just some of the questions answered in Brian Haughton's enthralling new book.

In Haunted Spaces, Sacred Places you will discover:

* The relationship between ancient Native American sites and unexplained phenomena in Colorado's San Luis Valley.

* The truth behind the legends of the mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor in China, home of the Terracotta Warriors.

* The legendary history of ancient sites such as Stonehenge, Chartres Cathedral, Delphi, Cuzco, and the Ohio Serpent Mound.

* The prevalence of modern encounters with ghosts, UFOs, spooklights, Bigfoot, and phantom dogs at ancient sacred places.

With more than 25 photographs and illustrations, this is the ideal reference work for those interested in the connections between ancient places, folklore, and unexplained phenomena. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Indisputable evidence - well documented
I read and reviewed "Messages From Space" earlier this year for a print publication. I am currently writing for two websites and wished to add some comments to this review area.
When I initially picked up this book, I was as skeptical as most might be. However, Jay Goldner's research was as fascinating as it was convincing. His finding's are presented in a clear and concise format that show there is more to the Crop Circle phenomenon than is being told to the public.
Though it has been proven in the past that some Crop Circles have indeed been hoaxes, the sheer numbers (over 10,000)and intricacies make it impossible for them all to be.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who has even a passing interest in the subject.

5-0 out of 5 stars Interesting Calendar!
I have this on the wall right now, I love the way the circles are compared to symbols of various belief systems, examples are from the Mayan calender, Hindu, American Indian, among others. Its informative! I feel like I have something to look forward to every month, can hardly wait until next years calendar!

5-0 out of 5 stars Beautifully captured!
This calendar captures the beauty of the phenomena of the crop circles. The images are captured with clarity and include a thorough caption of the location and geometrical significance of the design. Each image is a pure work of art the speaks to your soul.Excellent color with significant astrological dates highlighted throughout.Very enjoyable to look at!

3-0 out of 5 stars a bit disappointing
it is a well done calendar, also ecologically made but the pictures are just not good. I've seen in different books much better pictures and I still can't understand why didn't they put better crop-circles then the simple ones they chose? and why not putting some 2007 crop circles?
disappointing product. buy the book of Silva instead - it is an amazing inspiring project.

5-0 out of 5 stars Crop circle calandar
I am amazed by the phenomenon of crop circles
this calandar presents the variations and beauty of such incrediblepatterns

5-0 out of 5 stars More than just a calendar
This 2006 crop circle calendar put together by Freddy Silva is much more than a few photos of crop circles. They appear to have been carefully selected by Silva to represent important characteristics of sacred geometry, and their links to the esoteric mystery schools, which is explained in text, on each page.

There are photo's depicting symbols from Buddhism, Egyptology, Kabballah, Christianity, & Islam. In addition, he has included many of the important religious dates for each month, easy to see at a glance. For me, a Westerner who's knowledge of Eastern religion is still growing, this is a great tool for connecting into the activities of other forms of worship. You could almost say its a universal calendar!

The other standard features are included; moon phase dates, holidays, plus a mini 2007 calendar.

Great value, you can't lose. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Objective & Informative
First of all, for me, Andy Thomas is a brilliant writer. His writing is educational, humorous and expansive. This little book is a great intro to the subject of crop formations. I appreciate the intelligent approach to a highly debated subject. I find there is a lot of misinformation out there and am glad for the simple clarity in this book. So whether you are just hearing about these or have a full library on the matter, it is a beautiful addition despite being written several years ago. The quality of printing is exceptional too!
