"The role of Liam Kincaid on Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict is certainly different from anything I've done before in my career, but that's what makes it especially interesting", said Leeshock. "My other television roles were pretty standard 'leading man' types, but with Kincaid, I get to create him from scratch there is no model for someone with his mysterious lineage." Leeshock's network television credits include recurring roles on Beverly Hills 90210 , and the popular daytime soap operas Loving and All My Children . He also appeared in the telenovella Crystal Empire and the comedy series Life's Work . His film credits the independent features Me and Veronica Trash Elysian Fields and Murder Prior to turning his hand to a full-time acting career, Leeshock completed an engineering degree at New York's Cornell University in 1989. A native of New Jersey, he moved to New York in the early 1980s, where he undertook selective scene study training with Wyn Handmann as well studying the Meisner Technique, Comedy Improvisation and Voice training. Robert Leeshock Robert Leeshock proudly hails from New Jersey. A self proclaimed mutt, his lineage spans the gamut from Polish and Slavic to English, Irish and Italian. He forgot French and German. His Cornell education started off in liberal arts, but somehow he ended up with an engineering degree in Materials, semiconductor electronics. He's got the paper to prove it. Too bad he never used it. He became an actor he says ironically, to keep himself sane. N.Y. bound, he wound up studying the Meisner Technique and then finding a mentor in Wynn Handman, director of the American Place Theatre. Finding his way as an actor, he did commercials and got his first job on the soap, Loving on ABC. He did an obscure indie called Me and Veronica with Elizabeth McGovern and a recurring role on All My Children as well as stints on As the World Turns and Guiding Light . L.A. bound, his first audition there landed him the role as a frat boy in Spelling's Beverly Hills 90210 . He admits to having tried to watch the show before being on it and laughed all the while he was doing it. He went to Mexico City to do a telenovella for the FX cable channel and spent 7 months there getting sick from either the food or the water. It never saw the light of day, canned for eternity. While sitting in a writing class in L.A., he decided once again to try and get a role on a television show. A premonition, or clarity of mind landed him the lead role on the 1-year old Gene Roddenberry show

For over two years now, the talented and friendly actor Robert Leeshock has played Resistance fighter Liam Kincaid on "Earth: Final Conflict," following the departure of the original lead. As a result, many people took an intense dislike to his character. But whatever their opinions on the character, it is not fair to blame the actor for what they do not like.
