Exhibiting photographs for mutual pleasure is similar to a comedian telling jokes to an appreciative audience. But comedy is more serious than photography. Viewers who see more in my photographs than I do probably have better vision. Those who see less than I do may be right, and I remain partially open to their criticism

Mr. Carnahan's Social Studies Station "An Inspiration"
by Ella Wheeler Wilcox
However the battle is ended,
Though proudly the victor comes,
With flaunting flags and neighing nags
and echoing roll of drums;
Still truth proclaims this motto
In letters of living light:
No question is ever settled
Until it is settled right. Though the heel of the strong oppressor
May grind the weak in the dust, And the voices of fame with one acclaim May call him great and just; Let those who applaud take warning And keep this motto in sight: No question is ever settled Until it is settled right. Let those who have failed take courage, Though the enemy seem to have won; If he be in the wrong, though his ranks are strong, The battle is not yet done. For sure as the morning follows The darkest hour of the night, No question is ever settled Until it is settled right.

Archives of Loving Poetry
Daily romantic verse gives us a reminder of our loving natures which we too often forget in our daily internet activities. Take a few deep breaths, relax and enjoy this sample romantic poem from these romantic verse archives. From the Archives: The meadow and the mountain with desire
...Gazed on each other, till a fierce unrest
...Surged 'neath the meadow's seemingly calm breast,
And all the mountain's fissures ran with fire. A mighty river rolled between them there.
...What could the mountain do but gaze and burn?
...What could the meadow do but look and yearn,
And gem its bosom to conceal despair? Their seething passion agitated space,
...Till lo! the lands a sudden earthquake shook,
...The river fled: the meadow leaped, and took
The leaning mountain in a close embrace. Attraction by Ella Wheeler Wilcox (1850-1919) Romance poetry is many things to many people- sometimes verse romantic is difficult because it reminds us of relationships we do not have; sometimes such verse is inspirational and leads us to more loving in our lives, sometimes such rhyming is just plain fun- so enjoy these verse romance archives! 24HR Free Psychic Readings - Zelda sees all, knows all.

I shall be a believer of all that is good in man and of all that is
deserving in animals. I shall plead for their lives, campaign for their
safety and uphold their right to a natural death. I shall seek out the
injured and the maimed, the unloved, and the abandoned and tend to them
in their last days. I shall not forget their place in the hierarchy of
life, nor that we walk in each other's paths. I shall bear witness to the
wonder they bring into our lives and to the beauty they bestow upon our souls.
I shall renew their spirits when they are waning, bind their wounds when
they bleed, cradle them when they whimper, and comfort them when they mourn.

RHD In The US - Politics, Mutation, Zoonosis, Who Cares? When attempting to work with others we learned that some are concerned with our focus on possible mutations of the RHD virus, as well as it's ability to cross species, and other caliciviruses. From conversations in the past, we know that many refute the very idea that RHD can infect other species now or mutate into a form that can in the future. And yet we continue to speak to these issues. Why? There are actually many reasons.
How many of you put on latex gloves and change all of your clothes before entering your home? And if we all did, would these acts equal the bio level 3 containment procedures RHD calls for? Hmmm...
Do we know what Caliciviruses lay in US Rabbits? In other animals? Do we know the origins of RHD? Can RHD be created through circumstances, through situations that exists in the US? Can anyone guarantee our safety? Can we ignore these questions?
Is the Coalition along with one or two scientists alone in our concerns. Hardly. Please see Scientists Speak with comments from scientists and officials from around the globe.

John Greenleaf WHITTIER (1807-1892) But, by all thy nature's weakness,
Hidden faults and follies known,
Be thou, in rebuking evil, Conscious of thine own. Philip J.BAILEY (1816-1902) from 'Festus' All animals are living hieroglyphs, The dashing dog, and stealthy stepping cat, Hawk, bull, and all that breathe mean something more To the true eye than their shapes show; for all Were made in love, and made to be beloved, Thus must he think as to earth's lower life, Who seeks to win the world to thought and love. Christina ROSSETTI (1830-1894) from 'A Nursery Rhyme Book' Hurt no living thing: Ladybird, nor butterfly, Nor moth with dusty wing, Nor cricket chirping cheerily, Nor grasshopper so light of leap, Nor dancing gnat, nor beetle fat, Nor harmless worms that creep. from 'To What Purpose this Waste?'
