And that Corson is the 6770 th most common? Presumably, one of those two names is what led you here (although we won't turn away others!). According to the same census data, the Gilkison name is found most often in Kentucky and Oregon. 1990 Census data map for distribution of Gilkison surname I have been interested in genealogy since about 1991, around the time my father passed away, and I've been working on it ever since (funny how events like that always spur you to these pursuits)...
