Litefoot made his major motion picture debut in July of 1995 as the star of the Paramount/Columbia film entitled, “The Indian in the Cupboard.” This Internationally acclaimed film earned him his first “Best Actor” award from First Americans in the Arts. It was also at this time that he established his third business venture, Litefoot Entertainment handling all theatrical performances and film productions.
In April of 1996 Litefoot toured Indian Country performing numerous concerts in the United States and Canada and finished his second starring role as “Hiawatha” in the Canadian Showtime release, “The Song Of Hiawatha.” In July of 1996 he released the album “Good Day To Die,” which received international exposure and among fans became his most popular CD.
At the end of October, Litefoot completed filming his third motion picture for Universal Pictures in Europe entitled, “Kull, The Conqueror” with Kevin Sorbo and Tia Carrere. This allowed him to be present in San Francisco, California on November 9th to accept his second “Best Actor” award from the the American Indian Film Institute for his role in, “The Song of Hiawatha.” In December, Litefoot closed a very busy year by recording national television and radio commercials as part of his new position as spokesperson for Job Corps.
Litefoot kept busy in 1997 by starting off the year in Thailand filming his fourth motion picture , a New Line Cinema release, “Mortal Kombat, Annihilation.” Once filming was complete Litefoot returned to record four new albums for artists on Red Vinyl Records and started a rigorous schedule of concert touring which included filming his first “Live Concert Video” in Oklahoma with a crowd of over 10,000. Litefoot spent the end of 1997 touring and recording songs in Los Angeles for his own upcoming projects.

FIRST NATION BLUE (48 min.) -Narrated by Graham Greene This universally applicable film takes us behind the bulletproof vest to uncover the changing attitudes of the police officers who serve First Nations communities in Ontario. The film features three officers who show that instead of being outsiders forcing the people to change, police are now adapting themselves to address the needs of Native people. Intercutting actual patrol footage with at-home interviews, this powerful documentary shows first-hand the intimate relationships the officers have developed with the people they serve, how they deal with delicate, potentially violent situations, and what effect their work has on their private lives.

Welcome American Indian Council
Rainbow Woman By Jack Kiernan MANATAKA For thousands of years this sacred site was known as Ma-na-ta-ka, (Place of Peace). Elders of many nations from the four corners of Turtle Island made long pilgrimages to this magnificent place to perform ceremonies and share the gift of the healing waters called No-wa-sa-lon (Breath of Healing). They received other special gifts like healing stones, healing clay and healing herbs, to enhance their journey through life.
Read the fascinating and true saga of Manataka and see how hundreds of tribes, Spanish Conquistadors, an American President, Mayan and Lakota spiritual leaders, and the Rainbow Woman all played a role in the exciting Story of Manataka.
The Manataka America Indian Council exists to preserve and protect this sacred place. Welcome to our village! Please come into our lodge and enjoy the gifts we have for you. MANATAKA SPRING ENCAMPMENT April 11-13 Read Details Here COME TO
