Who Proofread This Book?
As a school media specialist, I purchased this book to add to my lower reading level biographies.It is an easy, quick read with basic facts about the actor.However, I was appalled to see that Gandalf was spelled "Gandolph" on page 30!It made me question how many other errors are in the book, who proofreads these books (it is a very quick read, and I caught it right away) and if the author did his homework thoroughly.Elijah Wood is a very articulate individual who spent years working on Lord of the Rings, and I wonder what he would think about the casual treatment of such a famous character.

Not Bad
I found this book fun to read, and informative.[...]But with all the interest in the "Lord of the Rings" movies, and Elijah's rising star status, most readers will find this book quite interesting.

Interesting info on talented actor
I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I bought this book, but it turned out to be pretty interesting.I had no idea that Mr. Wood had been acting for so long, and had accomplished so much.Certainly by comparison to DiCaprio, Wood has shown much greater breadth and range of acting.A lot of the book was predictible, [...] but it did cover the basics--biography, filmography, pictures, and trivia.Hopefully this won't be the last book written about this talented young actor!

Emm...The book Lord of the Ring makes me feel good.It is very exciting and anxious when I read the book.Before I bought the book,my friend and I when to see the this movies.Starting,I didn't know what exactly is that movie.After I have seen this movie,I love with this movie.I don't know why I have this feeling.Maybe I like the young hobbit,that is Frodo Baggin.He was so cute,brave little hobbit man...In the books I like him most.The stories of the books was so great.It so adventurios of the stories line.It's also makes me fill with fear when they have to fight with that ugly creature working for Saruman.he's so bad.I don't like him.

So,I have the wonderful moment as I love my books and the stories.The Lord of the Ring is the best among all the books and stories that I've read and seen.

Frank Capra meets the Little Prince
These days, we can use a shamelessly heartwarming fable and that isexactly what "The Most Beautiful Gift" was to me. The book owessome of its atmosphere to Frank Capra's "feel good" movies but itis as modern as Stephen King's books. A lovely gift for children aged 6 to90. In Italy we got three more books by this guy and I hope they getpublished in the States too. The latest one is called "The LittlePrincess" and moved me to happy tears. I rate "Gift" 4 starsonly because "Princess" deserves a somewhat higher mark.

A real treat ; at last, a well told tale.
I expected your usual sappy fable for dumb kids. Heck, was I surprised. This novel is witty, amusing, and a pleasure to read for children of ALL AGES(I'm 45).
