Pisces is, after all, the zoological term for fish and also the name of a zodiac sign--the astrological sign, as it happens, of the collection's anonymous owner. Devoted to contemporary art from the 1980s onward, the Pisces Collection takes not an encyclopedic approach but a focused one, concentrating on representing the work of a relatively small group of artists in depth. For the first time, 150 pieces from this very valuable collection are presented to the international public, featuring work by John M. Les événements politiques le forcèrent à abandonner l'étude des lois. En 1791, il abandonna la carrière du barreau pour s'enrôler dans les volontaires nationaux que l'on organisait alors. Le 15 novembre de la même année , il fut fait capitaine dans le 2 bataillon de volontaires de son département, et fit la campagne de 1792 à l'armée du Nord. Many nations ratified important chemical and biological weapons conventions, a pact to reduce conventional forces in Europe, and agreements to limit testing of weapons of mass destruction. More recent treaties seeking to restrain small arms trafficking and ban land mines are also highlighted and analyzed.
