Jon Frid and John Karlan together at last
I love this about as much as any of the big finish radio dramas. Jonathan Frid and John Karlan playing off each other in the story is as good as my other favorite "Echos of Insanity" with John Karlan and Lara Parker. John Karlan does just as good with Willie Loomis now as when he played him in the 60's and 70's and Jonathan Frid as he doesn't have to memorize and deliver is such a limited time frame as with the original television show is able to give great in-depth dialogue with this drama that focuses on the pre-vampire Barnabas, who is still able to be cruel when needed and when he is post-vampire is no match for a mere zombie. Witch is before and Witch after Witch Witch is Witch? Obviously I am mispelling plays on words here but poor Barney can't be a break, maybe he wishes he had it more like his namesake, one of the 12 deciples of Jesus, I bet Saint Barnabas didn't have to deal with witches quite so much. anyway great drama. ...
