OMG...why does this book even exist?!?
I thought this book was a compilation of her stories that i wanted to read and hence the name: a list of some of her books.But in reality it is basically a list with added info of her works...more like an exhibition catalog without any pictures.i was soooo dissappointed!!!if i hadn't been so busy i would've returned it but instead, it sits on my table mocking me since i haven't a clue what to do with it.I don't want to recycle it but i don't know anyone who has any use for it.Beware...make sure this is the kind of thing you are looking for...not something to read, but maybe if you are doing a research paper on Patti Smith, this has a lot of very dry information.I am bummed because i still want to read Just Kids but don't want to shell out more money now. ... The song remains one of the best known of Smith's catalog. In 1987, "Because the Night" by Patti Smith Group was ranked number 116 on NME magazine's list of "The Top 150 Singles of All Time". The original song was recorded by Bruce Springsteen during sessions for his Darkness on the Edge of Town album. The Patti Smith Group was working on Easter in the studio next door, with engineer/producer Jimmy Iovine working on both albums.
