Love this Book!
Now I have had my share of good books. This by far is my favorite, it was really enjoyable.
The main charater, Heather, was a strong young women with faith who cracked me up. I really enjoyed being in her head with her thoughts.
Its just something all women should read before they go into the dating scene. Like Barlow Girl say "God is writing my love story"

A Fun and Entertaining Piece of Christian Fiction
Kathryn Springer's "The Prince Charming List" touches the heart of the little girl living inside each woman who always wanted to be swept away on a white horse!Ms. Springer creates a wonderful story in the Pritchett series that can easily be read on its own about a woman who is working at her mother's small town beauty shop while Mom is on her honeymoon over the summer.Heather Lowell is like many of us in dreaming about her "Prince Charming", and she has created a list of the qualities she wants her dream man to have and keeps it in her Bible.Sounds like a good place to me.

What she finds in Pritchett is possibly an answer to her prayer for a true love.But to which of the two young men is the Lord leading her?Dex, the anti-social (not really handy) handyman who plans to leave the country in a few months for a mission trip?Or Jared, the adventurous artist who doesn't belong in this small town? The road to discovery is paved with humor and heart-clutching moments.

Although predictable, this is a warm and fuzzy read that will warm your heart and bring a smile to your face.It may also point you to what you should prioritize on your prince charming list.

Excellent Research, Beautiful Story
Lawton has written several of these historical stories based on the childhood of characters in history. They could easily become "bigger than life" or full of sentimental overkill. Instead, Mrs. Lawton pulls each reader into the heart of the story and the person,and I have come to trust her impeccable research even as I am swept along in the story. My favorite stories as a child were those of Native Americans, and this is one of my favorites of the Daughters of Faith series.

I have now given several sets of these books to elementary libraries and encourage you to do the same. If you're looking for stories to trust, remain true to the historical person, and will be a gift for a young reader, do get these books. With so much "revisionist" history now going around, this one you can trust that remains solidly in truth and historical aspects.

The real Pocahontas - a captivating read
