Lovely pictures but text is just an overview
Written more like a report, Shapiros' book will surely frustrate Sarah Jessica Parker fans looking for more than a broad overview of her early life and rise to Sex and the City fame. Gathered from a variety of media sources, the book contains only a superficial disclosure of its subject, with none of the real-life conversations and detail necessary to connect and entertain readers.I came across the book in search of information about Parker's early childhood and was disappointed to find a general summary of part of the life of a popular actress, rather than authentic stories and engaging detail about a real person. ... This was an excellent take on the series and I highly recommend it to all Sex and the City fans.

Good for styling tips
The book was just as expected, which was great. I bought this book mainly for the fashion pages and not so much for the story since my interest is in styling. The book offered blow to blow accounts of what was worn on Sarah and a general view of what the other ladies were wearing. There were so much details to the styling that we don't catch on screen and it's brilliant that the book offer us that chance. Great buy for aspiring stylists!

Fun, flirty ,fashion
It was a pretty big book of pictures of the second movie. They put it photos and information about the actors, the sets, and of course the clothing and shoes! LOTS AND LOTS of photos of clothing and shoes. It was really fun looking thru it. They list all the designers names in the outfits too, not JUST the picture. They add fun little details and info. I didn't even REALIZE how much clothing they went thru! Now, I'm not a big shopping or designer fan, I'm a fan of creativity. And some of those outfits were soooo cooky! And I'm also a big fan of the movie. So i REALLY enjoyed the book. It was definitely fun to read!
