Awesome
My daughter, a first grader was able to read through the MaryKate & Ashley series of books on average within an hour, the 4 or 5 she has read far.

Great books for chapter readers starting out. When I looked for these at B&N the assistant was amazed that a 7 year old was reading pre-teen literature.

Great storiesfor young readers, an exciting page turner, too bad there was only a series of 8 books, as this series has graphics and photos which add to the story and help keep the interest up.

So Little Time-Best Friends Forever Book
I am a 15 year old girl, I am a good reader so the book was quite easy for me. But I brought it because I am a fan of MKA and collecting their book series. This edition to the So Little Time set was better than I expected. I thought the plot sounded alittle boring compared to some of the others I have read but, once I got into it. It didn't disappoint and I really enjoyed it. It is about the girls trying to run their own businesses by creating and selling their own products. The only problem is that Riley (MK) is really hoping, for an A in business studies and this project. But when everything goes wrong and they fall out with their best friends, who are working with them in their group. How will her and Chloe (A) manage now they are selling new different products separately from their friends and, how well will these new products/ their new groups do? Also Chloe was going to a rock concert with one of their friends too but, now they've fallen out. Will she and her boyfriend Lennon still be able to get a ticket to the gig before, they all sell out? You will have to read the rest of the book to find out. But I would recommend it to any Olsen fans over 10 years old and say, you shouldn't go expecting a masterpiece with this book. The Perfect Summer
Mary-Kate and Ashley Sweet 16 Perfect Summer by Emma Harrison is a great book about a road trip and the girls both have jobs at the Music Fest.The book is about when Mary Kate and Ashley go on a road trip to a Music Fest after they turn sixteen.When they found out they were going they were so excited they were jumping up and down screaming.
The main characters in the book are Mary Kate, Ashley, Brian, Penny, their parents and their friend Don.One thing that happened at the beginning of the book is that they actually found out they were going to the festival.Another part of the book was that they left their house to start their road trip. Once they were there they meet their dad's friend Don who makes music videos.Those are some of the things that happened in the book.
I like this book a lot.I like this book because Penny overcomes her fear of stage fright.I also like that they won the contest and got their scholarships.A part that was sad was when the girls heard how good Penny was singing but she did not want them to her. So after that Penny would not even talk to them.One thing that was funny is when Mary-Kate and Ashley got revenge on Penny for being mean to them.That is my opinion about the book.
The theme of this book is that friends can help you do anything.That is the theme because Penny got over her fear.Another thing is when Ashley could not carry all the equipment Brian helped her with it.All of Penny and Brian's friends helped them practice for the competition.If you like to read surprising books this is a good book for you.

For anyone who has mixed up Going My Way and The Perfect Summer, Going My Way is not a Mary Kate and Ashley book. The Perfect Summer is though, it is Book 3 in the Sweet 16 series.

Amazon.com cannot seem to stop mixing up plots, titles, and series numbers. This book is not about as described, it is about Mary-Kate and Ashley getting a job (through their music exec dad) at a summer music festival working backstage. Mary-Kate meets a rock star, Gavin Michaels, and they start dating. Only things aren't as they seem with Gavin. Ashley gets a new boyfriend, Brian. She has to help his band partner, Penny, get over her stage fright before they have to perform and compete for a record contract. Can they make it? Though thoroughly predictable, this book is a great read, whether you like to read or not!

How many books R there in the Sweet 16 mini-series?
Okay, I have seen two books on the internet, one is called 'The Perfect Summer' , the other is 'Going My Way'. They are both noted as book 3 of 'Mary-Kate and Ashley Sweet 16.' If anyone knows which is the REAL book 3, and if you know what the story is about, whether it's same or different, please reply in a review, thanx.

A great book!
This bookwas fantastic. I got it in a airport bookstore and I finished it on the flight. I am not a huge fan of Ashle and Mary-kate, but this book was great. if you like Ashley and Mary-kate, then you should read Crossing Hearts!

COOL!

I really like the part where Mary-Kate have 2 go on-stage and then find out she got the wrong "Sugar" (by the way.. that's a horse) .. and the "sugar" she got now doesn't listen 2 her at all!!! But it all works out anyway...
In this book, Ashley get's in a fight with her boyfriend Ross because of a magic-trick, And Ashley didn't know you can't open the magic-box from the inside, so when Ross walks away from her, and she's going to practice by herself.... well she get's stuck in the magic-box, but at the end Ross saves her!!!It's a pretty funny, nice and cute book.. but, i still like "Surprise,Surprise" better!!!

Now You See Him, Now You Don't
This is a pretty good Olsen book! If you are a collector of their books like I am, than you should get this book! I am on chapter 4 right now because I just got this book like 3 days ago! So far Mary-Kate and Ashley are practicing for the Harrington Magic Show. Girls are suppost to pair up with a boy and of course Ashley picked her long time crush and also boyfriend, Ross Lambert, to do a magic trick. Their trick is sawing Ashley in half! Ashley is scared, but I have no clue what happens next! I can't wait! I better go and read some more. Mary-Kate's magic trick with her boy-partner is a little more trickier! Why, you ask? Cool Diary
This Diary is the best diary and most unique I have ever seen. It of course has a lot space to write your personal stuff but it has more than that. It has quizes so you can find out more about yourself. It has places where you can put in your favorite pictures, a mood card game, and a magic mood-o-meter so you can see what mood you are in.

I love this book!
This great book is about two little girls, Sam and Emma, Sam is the sporty one, who loves football and soccer, Emma is the princess who loves boys and make-up. When their dad gets them both into soccer teams, they swich places, and are very happy untill ther mother fins out! Inthe end, Emma proves she can also be good at sports and Sam gets a boyfriend, and they both are great soccer players!

I think people 8 and above should read this book. It's getting interesting. I wonder what happens next. I think her dad was on Emma's team.

M-K&A ROCK!
This book was great!the twins are taught no matter what,they can't live without each other.I've read it about 3 times.If you like the twins you will almost adore the book!I'm a collector!

Mary-Kate going home--A few more losses and her old baseball team is history!But the twins soon find out it isn't so easy without eachother....Mary-Kate tries out for the school play, but the schdule soon creates a conflict with her baseball team, and nobody understands how important the play AND baseball are to her.Ashley has her own problems at White Oak Academy.Her cousin Jeremy copied her report, and turned it in as his own! Now the clock is ticking until someone finds out, and Ashley is becoming paranoid!The twins can't get ahold of eachother, so they're on their own for a while!

A great book if you are looking for an easy read!
I really enjoyed this book! If you like the show Two of a Kind then this is a must read. It is in a diary format and I personally love any book like that. It was very easy to read, nothing to taxing and I just sat on the sofa and read it all through in about an hour. I really enjoyed it and although the reading age was 9-12 and I'm 14 and I thought it could really suit anybody. ... Read more
