Marykate & Ashley!
I love themI watched them all the time and loved Full house, Two of a kind was good!as they grew up sadly they ended and iwas so sadcause of all the scandal in 2006 but i think thats partly why they both parted waysand quit acting! Great introduction to fashion/art
I bought this book because I think the Olsens have great style, and was interested to see who they looked to for influence. This book is a collection of interviews, Polaroids, and other images from their collection. I was fascinated by the interview with Bob Colacello, who talked about his days working at Interview magazine and his interactions with Andy Warhol. Other interviews include Karl Lagerfeld, Diane von Furstenburg, and John Galliano.

I would recommend this book for someone who is looking for an introduction to the world of fashion, art's influence in the fashion world, and vice versa.

Great, fashionable read.
I really liked this book. Though I am not a huge fan of the twins, I do love their business savvy and their fashion sense. And they carry the best bags around, let's be honest. In this book, they took their influences to a whole new level. I liked it in the way that I enjoy "Project Runway" and the book looks great on the coffee table. I highly recommend this to fashionistas everywhere, along with Better than Beauty: A Guide to Charm.

Cute Little Book
This cute little book tells the story of Mary Kate and Ashley.It is a small book, so it doesn't give boring details - only interesting facts.It is interesting and entertaining.The book tells how these girls (twins) got started in show biz and some interesting things in their lives.If you are interested in little autobiographies, then you would like this book.

These girls are grown now.But they still have fashions for a much younger age group.My youngest daughter likes their fashions.

Great for MKA fans
Before I read this book i was thinking that i already knew loads about mka so i wouldnt really learn much but when i started reading it i couldn't put it down. it has loads of information and is great for all mary-kate and ashley fans.

MKA, teen millionaires maybe, but won't get 1 million starz
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen grew up on TV and still are on TV to this day. This is the biography written about their lives.

First time I read this, I just thought B-O-R-I-N-G cos it wasn't exactly interesting enough to hold my near-to-zero attention span. I paid about the equivalent of $6 for this book in hard back, but personally I thought that I'd put this book in the trash and read the Harry Potter books I bought in that same day.

However, then maybe I thought that I'd just give it 1 last chance. I read it again, trying to pick it up and make it as interesting as possible. No result - my brain found it boring. I DID put it back of the pile, and I DID read the Order of the Phoenix. When I finished that book and started re-reading the Goblet of Fire, but I had an overdose of Potter Magic, and I needed to get down-to-earth. I was rummanging through my book case for a factual book to help me, and my only choice was "Our Story."

I read it, reading slowly, I only planned to read it for 10 minutes, but i got hooked and read it for 1 hour. It just made me think, but it was short, so I got back to The Goblet of Fire.

Then, I read it through the day AGAIN and I found it fascinating and sooo good, I was shocked how down-to-earth they were. However then I read it again a few weeks later, and I hated the book again. So I gave it to MY twin sister Ryoko "Dark Willow" Kravaya and she h8ed it and reviewed it too. I had to do the same.

Though I enjoyed the book, I got bored of it, and probably won't read it for a while. I liked the photos, but it was not only short, but hard to make interesting...really. So I had to be patient. My sister gave it 2 stars, I gave it 3. But personally, I liked the book (after ages) but now it got boring.

Just Olsen, Just that
Mary-Kate and Ashley olsen are twins. They are actresses. So what? Tons of girls are!
This book reflects the lives of these girls. How they made it big. How they live their lives. And it explains all their endorsements. Big whoop.
This book (on the whole) is quite boring. Unless you have young girls (age 5-11) then buy it. I personally am 11, but I don't act like bubblegum pop, I listen to Good Charlotte and admire Emily Strange. That's what a real pre-teen should be doing, not some pink twins.
The Olsens are 17 years of age. I thought they would have grown up from the "Miss Popular" routine. Though they said in OUR LIPS ARE SEALED: "Life's not about being popular, it's about being yourself," does anyone actually believe them? They're actresses, they're supposed to say that! But I think that beneath all that, they're just saying to girls to be stuck-up and popular, like the Olsen twins.
These girls are Barbie Dolls, and it shows in their movies with yucky smooches and poor acting.
This book explains a lot about their lives, but I really don't think there's much truth in it.
okay, 3 or 4 years ago, I was a die-hard MKA fan. But now I've said "Bye-bye" to the movies, books and clothes, and made way for Emily Strange books and accesories.

Loved It!
I loved the case of the Game Show Mystery! It is really good, it is one of my favorite books in the series! Here is a summary of the book. Mary Kate and Ashley have just won a chance to play on their favorite game show Double Trouble. They are really excited, but when they get there they have yet another case to crack. Someone seems detirmened to make sure Mary Kate and Ashley lose. Mary Kate and Ashley have to figure out who is causing all the trouble before it is too late! I hope you decide to read this book! My favorite "New Adventures" book!
This book wasn't like other "New Adventures" book. The Case of the Game Show Mystery actually had an interesting story line.Plus, what made it a good read was that it was both fictitious but realistic in a way. This book is about when Mary-Kate & Ashley are picked to be contestants in their favorite TV show, "Double Trouble". But there is someone who wants them to lose...BAD. A Marykate Oslen Fan
I love this book, Marykate and Ashely think that a ghost is in a haunted house because they hear giggling, there friend Tim is missing, and there friend Princess Patty has lost her goldfish. Can they find out whos doing it? I love these books I have read all of them and I like this the best! I like the New Advetures of Marykate And Ashely more then Two of a kind. ( 8-12)

I love this book!
Ashely and Marykate are twin detectives and they run the olsen and Olsen Detective Agency in there attic. Ashely is very loical but marykate always likes to trust her feelings.
At the Halloween Carnival the prizes are missing and Matykate and Ashely wiith there friends Patty Eric Tim and Rachel hear spooky giggling all around the carnival. When they go into the Haunted House there best friend Tim disappears ! Marykate and Ashely need to find out whos Haunting the Halloween carnival before halloween!

Best One Yet!!!!
This is a fantastic read! Where most MK+A detective stories leave the reader wanting more The Case of the Giggling Ghost comes through big time! In my past experience with novels featuring the adorable twin gumshoes (namely The Case of the Missing Dong and Who Snatched the Cat?) I have been remiss to assert the title of masterpiece for two reasons 1: "Tensions" between the twins that, while sometimes alluded to in metaphor, lurk between the lines and suggest that the girls have not yet reached an full awareness of what it means to touch or be touched, and 2: Flimsy plot construction that, for the most part, centers around the solving of an external crisis that the reader half-heartedly endures. The Case of the Giggling Ghost resolves these issues in one brilliant stroke. The twins finally reach a level of maturity that allows them to envision themselves as more than asexual detective stereotypes. The "giggling ghost" in the story is an allusion to strange new sensations arising in the twins (owing an obvious debt to Baudrillard's "spontaneous laughter of the soul") which cause them to probe the nature of thier relationship. Using the wisdom they have aquired in solving past mysteries the girls search thier bodies for "clues". The internal conflict is alleviated (or solved) when the twins realize that the "giggling ghost" can only be silenced by pure unmediated "bottom-to-bottom" contact with eachother. So, if you love MK+A or are a first time reader this is definately worth your time and money. ... Read more

This book was very cute I loved it's twists.

I read the book with my younger sister and it didn't seem to scare her in fact she enjoyed it.

This book is definate one for the people who like those old black and white films with Dracula and Frankenstein.

I give it a four out of five.

A very boring book!Typical, for Mary-Kate and Ashley.Their books and movies aren't fun!Getting through these books is pretty hard!It takes me about a week.I usually rent them, but sometimes I used to buy them.I'm not going to buy their products anymore!I encourage you not to, either.Their stuff is boring!This book is not exciting or fun.Maybe it will be fun for younger readers, but their books is not my type stuff.

First of all this series sucks.I admit there are funny creative ideas but basically everything is about boyfriends, crushes, the in-crowd: your basic no-good literature.I can't believe anyone would rate these books 5 to 4 stars.I didn't learn anything from these books.It's nonsense.You can find so many other books that really have a point to them, a book you cant get out of and when you finish you're amazed.For instance: "Anna Sunday", "Walk Two Moons","Dragon's Gate", so on!....Its a waste of money to buy these.

Mary-kate and Ashely
Mary-kate is a tomboy who loves softball & basketball and she is very messy and wears jeins while Ashely is a cool girl with lots of pretty dresss and she loves shoping and has a crush on a boy at school. There Dad puts a ad up for a babysitter and both girls hate it becase there babysitter is a old lady intill Carrie a cool girl shows up and replaces her. Carrie takes Ashely shoping and Mary-kate to baseball games. One day Carrie helps the girls by saying to trade places at a softball game becase Ashely is no good at softball , so Ashely plays as mary-kate and does a bad job while Mary-kate swings as Ashely and wins the game. There Dad is not too pleased but he was nice about too, So Tomboy and Ashely are very cool twins!

Cool-read this
Ashley and Mary-Kate aren't too keen on having a babysitter,but when they meet Carrie,they realize it would be great if she had the job.It's just a matter of convincing their dad,who thinks that modern-girl Carrie will not be a good influence.This is very readable,and I've just bought 2 more books in the series.

An Awesome Book
This book kept me in so much suspence. When Mary-Kate and Ashley go to a ski-lodge for a vacation they find a coca trail on the floor. Then theyalways see a woman whispering in her phone. Then one day the ski lift stopsin midair...

Mysterious, but otherwise BLECH
Okay, I admit that this book WAS mysterious and you have no idea "whodunit" when you're reading this book. However, it was really cutesy and weird. In a mystery story, when detectives have this "oh, I am THE best detective and I can solve ANY case", which Mary-Kate and Ashley had in this book, it spoils the story. I was quite disappointed when I read this book. I almost didn't read the other Mary-Kate and Ashley mysteries after reading "The Rock Star's Secret."

Mary-Kate and Ashley are rock star's
This is a great book. It's about Mary-Kate and Ashley are in a band called the Sparkles. The place that they they are in is named after Johny Sparkles. Well ther is this will. It's that if there is a kid with red hair and two blond twins (like Mary-Kate and Ashley) and if they do a great job they will get to have a music center. Every thing is going good until someone puts dye in a person that has to sing he had red hair but now it's black. And there instrments get stolen. who did it?? The whole flap started when Fiona's adored cat disappeared. And everyone thought our dog Clue "dunnit"! Ashley and I were sure our pooch was framed. But we'd have to prove it -- or Olsen and Olsen could end up Clue-less!

Fun for Mary-Kate and Ashley!
Mary-Kate and Ashley stuff is very boring.This book, however, was one of more fun books, that's why I gave it 2 stars.I wouldn't give much Mary-Kate and Ashley stuff 5 stars, it any of the products 5 stars!In this book, the Olsen Twin's friend, Patty's grandmother's beloved cat disappears.Can the Olsen twins find the cat?This book has a twist to it that you'll never believe!

Keeps You In Anticipation
This is a good book.It isn't very long compared to what I'm used to, but that's okay because I wanted to find out the ending in that one sitting.The story keeps you in anticipation, though a few parts are predictable.Here is basically the story for each twin (no spoilers ahead):

Mary-Kate:It's almost winter break, and Mary-Kate's class has been assigned a last-chance-to-not-fail-the-class group project.Even though snobby Penelope aced the most recent test (unlike everyone else), she volunteers to be a part of the project anyway.To Mary-Kate's horror, she is assigned to their group.How will she get through December when Penelope insists on studying 24/7, and makes jokes about the other kids' Christmas spirit?And in the midst of all the unwanted emotions, how can Mary-Kate catch cutie Carter Black's eye?

Ashley: Ashley comes up with a great idea: Secret Santa!All of the students' names will be thrown into a hat, then each student will draw a name.Then they will have to secretly leave gifts for that person until a party, when everyone will reveal who they were Secret Santa for.So if Ashley was the one to come up with this bright idea, why did her Secret Santa leave her a half-eaten sandwich, stinky gym socks, and a lump of coal?

Overall, an interesting, enjoyable book from the "Two of a Kind" series.Not overly detailed, descriptive, or worthy of an award, but a fun, girly book that I would recommend to girls ages 9-12.

Great book--funny too!
This book was funny and it was good, too.I liked it.Mary-Kate gets great gifts from her Secret Santa, but Ashley doesn't.She gets the worst gifts!Dana Woletsky, Ashley's nemesis, thinks Ashley gifts are hilarious!Could the gifts be from Dana?Also, Mary-Kate is having trouble getting along with the new girl, Penelope.Penelope is not very nice, and Mary-Kate just doesn't understand why.Will Mary-Kate and Penelope learn to get along?Read the book to find out!:) ... War of the wardrobe
Ever been pushed to wear something you don't even like one bit?Mary- Kate and Ashley did by having to wear uniforms.But they are going to stop it.Mary-Kate and Ashley and their friends held up signs and made deals.One of them was that Ashley had to make a new design for the uniforms. What will happen?

I liked this book because they didn't just stand there and let something they didn't like happen. They didn't want uniforms! Even if they got in trouble they still didn't want uniforms.

I would suggest this book to people who are into fashion and wardrobes and chapter books. If you want to find out what happens read War of the Wardrobe.Have fun!

...this book is great,cool,amazing... this book is everything you are looking for!!!! Even if your not an Olsenfan you would love all TOAK books.. This book called "War of the wardrobes" has a great plot, You are gonna love reading about Mary-Kate and Ashley on White Oak... This book is about two teen girls having problems,liking boys and having fun in the end a great book 2 read, you could borrow it from a friend but better buy it because this is one of that great books you wanna read over and over again!!! buy it now!!

I think War of the Wardrobes was a pretty good book. This is what it's about -- Ashley HATES school uniforms. But she wrote an article about dress codes for the school newspaper - and now everyone thinksn she likes them. Students at White Oak Academy might have to wear uniforms - and they're blaming Ashley!
Mary-Kate agrees to help Ashley ban uniforms forever. But they'll have to work fast-or face a fashionless future!
I found all of that information on the back of the book. It's a pretty good book. I have 17 two of a kind books, and this was a pretty good book. If you are an olsen fan, then I recommend that you read this book and all the other ones!!!

TWO OF A KIND- The most interesting of MKA books!
Two of a kind series is probably the most interesting books i've read in a while. THey keep me intrigued and have plot. The average book in this series only took me 3 hrs. to read, because I couldn't put it down! This book is about how their acadamy might be getting uniforms and they're protesting it. Cheesy sounding? yes. Is it? no.

PROBLEM
THis book is really Great I really enjoned it! ! ! When Marykate and Ashley go back to White Oak Academy they find out they will soon have to wear uniforms and the uniforms are really really ugly! Well...I have read this book and I enjoyed it very much. But I think you sould like borrow it from a friend not buy it if you are a person under like 8. Because it's too easy to read and it takes like less than 2 min. to read the whole book.
