Great Strategies for Bar Exam Essays

Nice Supplement
Great quick guide to teaching a simple method to approaching essays.Barbri and PMBR do not give to much guidance on writing style which is where this book nicely fills the void.There are also practice essays, but if you have Barbri's I would just use those (there are plenty).

This book is really basic.
Point: I was not very impressed and after skimming it, I didn't look at it much before the bar exam.My tip for you would be bar takers out there... try getting some Law in a Flash cards instead.I took the PA bar and basically only used these to study.No Barbri, wish I could have saved money and not bought this book too.

I took BarBri and PMBR.However, neither taught a SYSTEM for writing essay responses.So, I searched for a system and found this book.After practicing the author's "Under Here Therefor" method, and her question-outlining method, I felt much more prepared.

I just passed Nevada's bar exam...one of the more difficult exams.I used the system.I credit this book for making the exam manageable.

Spend the fifty bucks now, and avoid failing!

I now understand more than ever
This gives such an understanding of what Irish tenants went through at the hands of their landlords after the dreaded Potato Blight struck. I knew about the Famine and how many escaped to America, etc., but this brings you right into the agony of that time in Ireland and on the ships bringing them to their new homelands, if they survived the journey. It was quite an eye-opener for me, an Irish Catholic with family roots there.

I had started to read more of Irish history based on my family genealogy in which every search led me to Ireland. I couldn't really understand The Troubles and such hatred still existing today, but "Paddy's Lament" sharpens the focus. If you were a child listening to your parents or grandparents telling you old family stories of what they suffered during the Famine, especially the first few years, I'd imagine that the hatred would stick with you for generations. "Prelude to Hatred" is so accurate.After the laws against Irish Catholics in the 1600s, this continuation of genocide lingers as I read of deliberate efforts not to relieve the suffering.

For example, Ch 3 remains with you. The image of that girl running made me cry. The eviction of tenants who couldn't pay the rent is heartbreaking. How could landlords bear the anguish on their tenants' gaunt faces as they threw them out of their homes? The landlords or agents would promise 5 shillings to the evicted if they helped to tear down their homes! They'd only laugh and not pay them afterward, knowing they did it simply to buy food. To know that so much food was being shipped to England that these tenants had grown, while they received none, is disturbing.

I'd always wondered, why the potato? Couldn't they have planted other crops? Well, they did - for their landlords and English profits. Tenants were allowed only a small portion of the land they worked to grow their own food. The potato was easy to grow and took little space. It could be used to feed family and animals alike. When the blight appeared, they had nothing.

Overall, a must for anyone interested in Ireland and a disturbing time in Irish history.

Paddy's Lament - A Must Read
This is an incredibly detailed and descriptive account of what actually happened during those years of the potato famine where the Irish suffered unbelievably inhumane treatment from Britain. There is too much to possibly comment on in this short space. It is an absolutely fabulous book, written very well, and is a great start for anyone digging into Irish history wanting to get right to the point of things. Simply put: Its a must read! I actually walked away feeling proud of my Irish Catholic Heritage for what they survived, but ashamed of the English Protestant in me.

Without exaggeration I can say this is one of the best books I have ever read. This well written investigation and revelation of the near termination of the Irish people during the potato famine at the hands of the British is one that should be read by all interested in history.The cruel history of Ireland under rule of England is throughly laid out here. Even the African American slave was treated better by his slave masters in America in that he was fed the waste and guts of hogs, the Irish were left to starve slowly to death. Can England ever be forgiven of her crimes against this humanity, the Irish ? Pity those that stood in judgement before a just God. This book should be required reading in all high school history classes. Pity my poor ancestors...God rest their souls.

Interesting new look at the CSA
Gallagher's premise behind this book seems very rational, yet is was one many historians had missed:instead of trying to figure out why the South lost, Gallagher tries to found out why it lasted as long as it did.Previous historians had almost started with Appomattox and worked backwards, but Gallagher attempts to start from the very beginning of the war without assumptions.What results are three thematic pieces on nationalism, military strategy, and national will.Gallagher's writing on strategy and will are good and open up some new questions that future writers will have to tackle.However, the weak point of this book centers on his writing on nationalism.Gallagher claims that Confederate nationalism basically rested on Robert E. Lee and the Army of Northern Virginia.I didn't think Gallagher was very persuasive in this section and I didn't buy his argument.The other weak part of the book is it really reads like Gallagher bringing up issues and questions that should be answered, but he doesn't really answer very many of them.Thus, the book ends up reading like a essay on how previous historians have messed things up.Again, good points all and Gallagher asks some pointed questions, but the lack of answers makes this book fall flat a bit at the end.Overall, though, worth a read if you are interested in the Civil War, especially from the Confederacy's perspective.

Causes of the Civil War
A well written, enlightening discussion of an old subject; it doesn't give enough emphasis on the sense of nationality in The South.

A bold challenge to Civil War conventional wisdom
Success in war is as much related to the will of the people to endure hardships as it is to capable leadership or the dedication of troops in the field.In "The Confederate War", Gallagher seeks to disprove the notion Southerners did not support secession or the Confederate government or that they wavered in their support, especially when the war turned against the Confederacy.Gallagher argues civilian support for the war effort never wavered and in fact remained generally resolute through to the surrender at Appomattox and in some cases beyond, giving rise to the commemoration of the Confederacy in the decades following the war.In Gallagher's opinion "...Confederates believed they had been beaten on the battlefield rather than undone by internal divisions."

While Gallagher focuses on civilian support for the war as part of his central premise, a great deal of military history does manage to creep into his work and sometimes distracts attention away from his argument.The reality is that the broad civilian support for the war serves to bolster other historians' argument as to the centrality of focusing on the military aspects of the Civil War as to why the Confederacy ultimately failed or could have succeeded.While Gallagher does look at the sociological aspects of Southerners he doesn't delve very deeply into economic issues or issues related to diplomatic recognition by foreign nations; items that likely were of great importance to Southerners and their cause.Why Gallagher didn't pursue both of those issues more fully is something of a mystery, especially considering the massive amount of correspondence he researched listed in the notes for each chapter.In the end Gallagher makes a compelling and persuasive argument that historians looking to find fault with Southerners support for the Confederate military and civilian leadership should look elsewhere.

really pretty overrated
Gallagher's main contention is that essentially the Confederate defeat was not due to a lack of collective will, as others have asserted, but rather that the Confederacy maintained a strong sense of nationality and collective will, enough to endure the brutalities and crushing losses of the war, until they were torn apart by uncontrollable internal problems. This is a fair enough argument; It is Gallagher's attempt to prove this assertion however that is faulty. The entire thesis is supported by a handful of letters of Confederate citizens who express their love of the south and detestation of yankee rule. There are a few statistics Gallagher throws into the book, but they are often misleading, such as the ones discussing desertion rates. This book is not much more than sensationalism under the guise of legitimate academic work. What makes history an academic discipline is that it must be somewhat quantifiable and its arguments must have some degree of verifiable proof. What Gallagher has done here is taken an abstract and immeasureable quantity such as national will and has attempted to disguise it as something measurable. I have no idea why this qualifies as scholarship, it is nothing more than mere speculation.

I also don't know why this book has recieved so much praise. Appearently controversial material now equates to good material. The book is a decent read, but not worth it when there are so many better books written on the same subject.

The South was resolute
Gary Gallagher, an eminent history professor at the University of Virginia, argues convincingly that the will of the southern people held out to the very end of the Civil War. The reason they lost was not due to a loss of will to fight on or due to a loss of national pride in the Confederacy. Rather, they were overwhelmed by a superior force that had better industrial resources and a larger population. Gallagher cites numerous primary sources including diary and journal entries. Of course, entries in journals are anecdotal but, he cites sources voluminous enough to support his premise.

Gallagher also examines military strategy to determine whether the South failed in that regard. He concludes that the Confederate forces faced insurmountable odds and its defeat was not due to its failures. The strategy was not flawed but rather, the South had only Lee to counter Grant and Sherman. There were not enough military leaders, in the South, capable of leading it to ultimate victory. Who knows? If Stonewall Jackson had not been killed and James Longstreet had not been wounded at a critical time, perhaps the leadership would have been stronger. In short, it was more an inevitable defeat by overwhelming forces than its own shortcomings that led to the ultimate defeat of the South. It is important to note that Gallagher recognizes that among some, there was a lack of will. Also, it is well documented that there were Unionists in the South. However, to a very large extent, national will and a sense of southern nationalism remained resolute until the very end.

I have been a fan of Professor Gallagher for a long time. His contributions on television, such as the History Channel, have increased my knowledge and understanding of the Civil War. I happened to be in Charlottesville, a while back, visiting UVa. I stopped over at Prof. Gallagher's office to meet him and have him autograph this book. Regrettably, he was not there that day and I missed the opprtunity to meet him. Nontheless, even unsigned, this book holds a prominent place in my personal libray. ... Read more

The New Economic Criticism meets Victorian Britain
Gallagher attempts to organize British Victorian novels and economic criticism with two well-defined conceptual tools: bioeconomics and somaeconomics. The first covers those concerned with looking at Victorian economic writings from the vantage point of life and death (Malthus), while the latter follows the lines of utilitarianism initiated by Bentham and having to do with questions of pleasure and pain. These concepts are applied to the developments (and rejections) of political economy over the span of the XIXth century. What was most helpful to me is her use of these concepts in relation to her readings of Dickens's Our Mutual Friend (bioeconomic) and Hard Times (somaeconomic) while comparing these novels to the work of John Ruskin (Munera Pulveris,1871 is used to help elucidate Dickens's last novel Our Mutual Friend).

Gallagher has a great skill in combining her grasp of theory in both economics and literature to her sound readings of Malthus, Ricardo, Ruskin, Dickens, and Eliot. There are other treats as well. Throughout the book she includes excellent observations on other writers (i.e. Herbert Spencer) that generally don't receive much attention. Gallagher states in her introduction that students of literature (esp. from the early XXthc. to the present) have generally overlooked the great political economists of the XIXth century in part because of the "packaging" of their thought as ideological, irrelevant, or simply useless. Such labels should never prevent us from engaging with these texts. This practice can be noted even in editing practices, where little or no information is given about economic issues that determine the outcome of realist novels. Here I would signal a great exception in some British editing practices, esp. those influenced by Ian Small. Today we can no longer afford to dismiss economic thought from our analyses (nor should we have in the past!) of literary works and certainly not from our editing practices. To do so is essentially to misread, or to cause to misread, and thereby to treat the Victorians unhistorically. Any Victorianist should know this. When I began looking at some of the anthologies fromtwo or more decades ago I find small pieces from Ruskin, Morris, Marx, and Engels. Rarely Smith, Ricardo, or Jevons. The new economic criticism does not ignore these "Other" contributions to the development of economics. Gallagher's readings attempt to go beyond simple models of production, distribution, and consumer economics to consider the effects of other economic thought as well.

Gallagher does not treat the late XIXth century with as much detail as she does the High Victorian period. For those interested in the period following 1871 (the year that marks the shift, the "Marginalist Revolution") I would recommend (for late British) Regenia Gagnier and Ian Small. Walter Benn Michaels (The Gold Standard) is still the best for late XIXth c. American literature and economics. I also highly recommend Gallagher's The Industrial Revolution of English Fiction (1988) which will provide a broader context for The Body Economic. ... Read more

A wonderful guide for the modern reader
This book is an excellent layman's companion to the Divine Comedy.Through his writing, Gallagher functions as a modern-day Virgil, guiding the reader through all 100 cantos of Dante's magnum opus.Gallagher peels away the obscure references, intricate politics, and esoteric philosophy of Dante's work to reveal the Divine Comedy's enduring core.Gallagher also allows the reader to take in centuries of reaction to Dante by pointing out allusions to the work in the writings of Chaucer, Pound, Shelley, and others.Especially enlightening are the short descriptions and commentary (1-4 pages) of Dante's lesser works, such as the "De Monarchia," "De Vulgari Eloquentia," and his poems.These help prevent Dante from becoming a one hit wonder and situate his Divine Comedy in a better context.

There are a few shortcomings.Gallagher foolishly believes that in "Inferno," Dante is "clearing the record" about literally breaking a baptismal font in Florence's Baptistry in order to save a child.(The event is obviously purely symbolic and refers to his criticism of the Catholic Church.)Gallagher also gets too involved in trying to link some of the symbols to real people/events (like the She-Leopard of Canto I) that do not have any counterpart in reality.But I am nit-picking in this matter, and think that these problems do little to detract from the overall enjoyable experience of Gallagher's book.

I would recommend this text to anyone who is tackling the Divine Comedy for the first time or to any non-scholar who is visiting it again.It's highly readable and clearer than most commentaries.

not the best
With apologies, I must state the simple truth: Philip Hawkins, Dante: a Brief History Dante: A Brief History (Blackwell Brief Histories of Religion) is the best introduction to Commedia in english. Gallagher is no slouch and this is no put down:Hawkins is just better. I admit that may be prejudiced by the fact that when I started my own book on Inferno Dante's Journey: A Field Guide to the Infernal RegionsI used Gallagher first and discarded it because it was light on detail, and found Dante: a Brief History a big help, and Hawkins other book Dantes Testaments: Essays in Scriptural Imagination (Figurae: Reading Medieval Culture) even more so, but a think Hawkins' book is as well organized as Gallagher's, as engaging and has the advantage on depth.

Divine Comedy made clear
Gallagher's review was immensely helpful to me.I am a college graduate in literature but this was my first reading of [[ASIN:0764804944 A Modern Reader's Guide to Dante's the Divine Comedy].He analyzes each Canto and his book can be used side-by-side with your translation of choice.Sometimes I would read his analyses more than once, then return to Dante with renewed comprehension.

I highly recommend Gallagher's Guide to the uninitiated high school to college graduate: he takes you deeply into the text and decodes the individuals with whom Dante floods the Comedy, characters famous to Dante's contempories but unfamiliar to the contemporary reader.The book isaccessible and helpful.

What Used To Be Called Cliff's Notes
I picked up a copy based on the reviews, but I was shocked by what I found.This is a summary of the various cantos and nothing more.

If you need something to cram for a test and you haven't read the assigned cantos yet, then this may be for you.

On the other hand, if you're in need of a serious introduction (not to mention some kind of knowledgeable annotation), then go to a book with footnotes (Hollander, Singleton, Durling, Musa).

Very over-rated

As has become the standard preamble for this genre, this book begins with a parable.A worker who has encountered a problem wants desperately to find a solution.But everyone he asks has an answer involving THEY.THEY make the rules.THEY need to do something.The worker tries to track down this elusive THEY, moving through the administrative levels of the business and to the board, the labor union, the finance department, and human resources.He finally comes to a realization while talking with other workers in the company bathroom and looking in the mirror. What if we use the words ME and WE instead of THEY?Doesn't that simple approach change everything?

The second half of the book addresses the process of putting the ME / WE concept into practice.Quizzes measure levels of accountability and personal responsibility.Quotes from successful people inspire us.A standard method is introduced for approaching problems, assessing needs, and setting goals.An added emphasis is that if you want to make change, you must realize that you can change only yourself.Then you can hope that your own behavior influences others.The chronically-negative folks and professional victims should be left alone to either stew in their own juices or to join the crowd when the mood strikes them.The goal here is to move from Whiner to Winner and from Victim to Victor.The book makes the transition seem fairly easy.Using it in real-life situations will be more challenging.While this book isn't a cure-all for this organizational ailment, it will at least get workers thinking.

"Who Are 'They' Anyway?" is obviously a promotional tool for the two authors.The book concludes with advertisements for supplemental materials and personal lectures or consultations.But the message is still a worthy one to consider. Funny, wise and fascinating
This is a collection of very short stories (sometimes only a few hundred words long) recounted by an old guy from County Sligo and massaged into written form. Some of them are mysterious, some of them very funny, some are wise and humane, and others simply offer little insights into a way of life rapidly vanishing. One of the best books on John Ford...
This is one of the better books out there about John Ford.Ford is one of the greatest American directors ever, and arugably the best director to ever emerge from the studio system (some may disagree on that a bit).Tag Gallagher talks about all phases of Ford's career, from stunt man/prop person to masterful director.Ford directed over 200 (!) films, and almost all of them were classics or near classics.Only until the end of his career did Ford become a little sloppy, but even then, many of his films were still damn good.

Gallagher talks about Ford's relationships with studios, actors, actresses, and specific films (including really hard to find films of Ford's, like Rising of the Moon, Gideon's Day, The Sun Shines Bright, and Seven Women, Ford's last feature).Gallagher goes into a myriad of details about almost every film, but his deepest analysis goes into two films, The Sun Shines Bright (Ford's favorite of all his work), and Ford's final feature, Seven Women, which is arguably his most underrated film and one of the most unique films in his entire canon.In fact, Gallagher dedicates nearly 15 pages of his book to Seven Women, including a reprint of a letter sent to him by none other than Ford himself.Ford thanked him for his support, and even said he felt it was one of his best films.

This is a delightful book for anyone interested in John Ford.Ford's films still resonate today, and this book will enhance them beautifully.

John Ford: A Brilliant Film Director whose Dark Glasses hid Poetic Eyes
T. Gallagher has written an outstanding book on the films of John Ford from his primitive Westerns of the silent era through his last film "7 Women" in 1965.
Gallagher includes biographical information on the enigmatic Mr. Ford-tough guy; closet intellectual; painter of superb movie landscapes and all around genius!
Gallagher's main focus, however, is a close study of all the John Ford movies. His commentary is to be read slowly (a dictionary to look up the abstruse words he likes to use can also prove handy!). Gallagher's writing is often academic (using big words and jargon of film scholars), pedantic and obscure.
However, overall he does a good job at getting at the essence of a film's worth. Gallagher helps you to "read a Ford film" giving you new insights into the neglected genius of the fiery Irishman who made the best American movies of his time.
If you want a biography of John Ford turn to the excellent biographies by Joseph McBride or Scott Eyman among others. If you
want primarily a scholary study of the movies made by Ford then
Gallagher is for you.
I enjoyed the book and recommend it to fans of Ford or for anyone wishing to know more about this legendary director of such classics as "Rio Grande"; "Fort Apache" "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon" "The Grapes of Wrath"; "Drums Along the Mohawk"; "Young
Mr. Lincoln"; "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence" and countless other classics!Well recommended.

John Ford's films
If one is searching for a biography of John Ford, this is not the book.(A suggestion--Scott Eyman's "Print the Legend"Another, with a slightly different emphasis but still with insightful observations--"John Wayne's America" by Garry Wills.) But as an analysis of specific Ford films as well as the themes he usedthroughout his career, this book is invaluable.Gallagher's style is a bit too academic at times, but he offers some interesting observations(His examination of the structure of "The Searchers" is particularly memorable).

All the bio (as well as analysis) that you could ever need!
I don't think customer Lee Kane is quite right when he says that Tag Gallagher's labour-of-love book is mainly about the films.Gallagher's writing is spare and lean but he gives at least as much biography as the purely biographical books.

Makes For An Interesting Read
This is a good book, even though not what I was looking for. The title says "The man and his films", but this book is mainly about the films. That means, if you are looking for the definitive Ford bio, this book isn't it.

That said, this book does has its advantages. It exploresFord's movies in depth, revealing new facts and a lot of insight. It alsohas a lot o photos.

If you want research on his movies, this is the bookfor you. If you want a biography, I suggest you read "Hollywood's OldMaster" by Davis. ... Read more

Wow-
The title of the book in itself was almost a lifesaver for me.It was exactly what was needed.Gallagher's 'to the core' writing really got through to me.I originally borrowed it from a library, but then knew immedately only a few pages into it that it was going to be a keeper.The book is organzied not in lists of how to improve ones self, but rather it's taken one idea per week, so to speak.It's organized so that an individual can really dive into each self improvement suggestion and get the most out of her teachings.
I got so much out of this book, I'm not only recommending it to other friend, but buying a couple of copies to pass out to friends.I think anyone and everyone can look at this book as a breath of fresh air and feel motivated to make tiny but significant changes.

Practical Wisdom
This book has really inspired me to acknowledge things that were bugging me about myself. The author is kind enough to not only pinpoint ideas that can make for a better life but also provides that little nudge at the end of each short,to the point, chapter to move the reader to action. It just all makes so much sense. Ms. Gallagher serves up different items on her suggestion menu in just the right amounts with the perfect flavor for each one.Easy to read, hard to put down, wonderful to share. Pure fiction
Modern historians who are the intellectual descendants of Alexander Hamilton continue to downgrade Jefferson's philosophy of states' rights. An especially specious example of this is this book. The book's premise is that the doctrine of states' rights had no real history but was fabricated after the war by disgruntled former Confederates to rationalize the secession of 1861.

In the first chapter Nolan asserts that the issue of the right of secession as a cause of the war is a legend fabricated by former Confederates in order to foster a heroic image of themselves and the war. The only evidence he offers of this, is a few quotations from none other than good ole honest Abe Lincoln!

Nolan doesn't even bother to mention Webster's and Lincoln's false notion that the federal government created the states, not vice versa. Nolan ignores the fact that Lincoln NEVER said that he was launching an invasion of the Southern states over the issue of slavery.

Read this book for a distorted and incorrect view of American history. Narrow is the path to intelligence - wide is the way to ignorance.

A judicious view
Well, the neo-Confederates are out in force condemning this collection of essays.It seems well to note that Southerners did a very good job of capturing the high ground from which Americans viewed Civil War history for nearly a century.Even though I'm a native Mississippian, I've never understood those who claim that the war was not about slavery.On the contrary, it had everything to do with slavery.The Mississippi declaration of secession began by noting "Our position is thoroughly identified with the institution of slavery..."That seems pretty straight forward to me.Reasonable people can argue about whether secession was, in the strict legal sense, constitutional.And it can be pointed out that while Lincoln made strong use of slave-owner Thomas Jefferson's assertion that "all men are created equal" that ideal is taken from the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution.But right up until the first shots were fired, arguments about constitutional powers, sectional differences, and property rights were all framed within the context of a dispute over the institution of slavery.

This collection contains several interesting essays, some weaker ones, and one misfire.Unfortunately, the misfire leads off the collection: Alan T. Nolan's "Anatomy of the myth."While Mr. Nolan accurately summarizes key feature of Lost Cause historiography, his tone is needlessly shrill.It seems silly to have to point out that "Gone with the wind"--both book and movie--are works of fiction.They were widely embraced by a white American populous of the 1930s seeking an escapist depiction of a romantic past in the midst of the Great Depression.Focusing on GWTW as a flawed depiction of historical events is about as useless as doing the same with "Braveheart" or the latest "Robin Hood." It is a shame that Gary Gallagher, co-editor of the collection along with Mr. Nolan, did not advise his colleague to do a re-write with a cooler head and sharper focus.

On the other hand, Mr. Gallagher's essay on Jubal Early is much more balanced and instructive.Early, a Confederate general, sought to move the Southern struggle from the battlefield to the printed page.He and his followers managed to influence not only Southern perceptions but, in time, Northern views as well.Robert E. Lee, after all, did not become an American icon by accident.Also of interest is the essay on Wade Hampton by Charles Holden.Far from attacking Hampton, Holden paints a nuanced portrait of the former Confederate officer who evolved into racial moderate in the postwar period (within the context of the times) only to be pushed aside by the politically inspired race-baiting of Ben Tillman.And there is a fine essay by Jeffry Wert on Gen. James Longstreet, the man whose reluctant performance at Gettysburg, postwar political alliances, and criticism of Lee made him an ideal scapegoat.

Somewhat less successful, in my view, is the essay by Brooks Simpson dealing with Gen. U.S. Grant's reputation as winning his campaign against Lee by means of brutal attrition alone.Whatever one's view of Lee as a man, in the period of 1862-3 he was the most audacious of military leaders.But this very audaciousness produced losses that, by 1864, forced him into a much more conservative strategy.The Lee who Grant confronted in 1864 was not the same Lee his predecessors had faced.Thus it is disappointing that Simpson lets stand without discussion Grant's characterization of Lee as not being a formidable opponent.And given that Grant himself had been rather audacious in the western theater, there is the question of whether--once in the shadow of Washington DC and tied to the ponderous Army of the Potomac--he could have realistically engaged in the sort of strategic risks that Sherman took in Georgia.

Considered as a whole, however, this set of essays has merit for those with a judicious view of history (e.g., that the Civil War might have involved a dispute over slavery) and a desire to learn how such views can sometimes be shaped by the losing side.

The Lost Cause revisited
The Myth of the Lost Cause and Civil War History, edited by Gary Gallagher, is an excellent collection of essays, illustrating various perspectives on that much debated phenomenon, the Lost Cause school of Civil War history. Such an amazing book.
First of all, I was a vegan for a year (often cheating) 80-10-10 diet and fruitarian.
My overall health start to decrease little by little, my teeth start gradually over the years to get crowded, my weight drastically went down, my facial shape start to get very weird, not harmonious shape, and then I got a periodontitis by following a fruitarian diet.
Meanwhile my wife got some tooth decay. I decided to buy this book since I have heard a lot of good things about weston price study, on which this book is based.

Rami Nagel made an excellent work, easy to read, interesting, easily doable and I can say that since I follow his advices, my oral health, my muscles, my mental, my eyesight, my skin, my hair are doing much better and improving gradually.

I'm not anymore the slave of my body and can focus more on my own spirituality as my body is not screaming and craving junk food anymore.

What I like the most in Rami Nagel is his Humily. it changes a lot compared to all these diet egotic gurus we can find and who provides false infos!

Father, Rami got to find a solution for his daughter who got tooth decay and he succeeded.

The solution is in the way our ancestor were eating.
Rami explain it in a very well and understandable manner. I let you discover this treasure that will make you save a lot of money from the dentist and the health lobbies.

The Best Book of Its Kind!
I am so grateful that I found the book "Cure Tooth Decay" by Ramiel Nagel. It is simply the best book of its kind that I have read! The book is a phenomenal piece of work. It gave me so much hope in regards to dental issues. I really recommend this book for anyone with any tooth issues. I feel it is essential to first read this book before you make any decisions about your dental treatment. Knowledge is empowering and I feel it is so helpful to read the other side of the story about tooth decay.

His book just makes so much intuitive sense! I feel it is so important to trust in our bodies ability to heal. When we cut ourselves, the cut starts to heal immediately unless we continue to damage the wound and to not let it heal. So too, with our teeth, why not give them a chance to improve if we stop damaging them with the processed foods we eat and leave them alone to heal? There are those that say it is what we "leave out" of our diet consistantly that heals us.

The protocol he has in his book is laid out in a very clear cut and easy to understand fashion. I like how theauthor shares his family's own experiences in the book too. While his book is easy to follow, it is very detailed and the author seems to answer every question that the reader could possibly have in regards to his suggestions.

I can not say enough positive things about this book!

I am so embarrassed to admit that I actually bought this book. I really would like my money back. I thought 64 positive reviews cannot be wrong BUT they are. This is the biggest pile of undigested half facts I've seen since George Bush was elected. DO NOT buy this. It is nothing like what it is represented to be. Think infomercial or commercial. Crass half facts linked together with a very small bit of truth. Don't waste your money.
