Lots of info - Pretty good
Has lots of information about song releases and dates etc. Lots of quotes by Christina also.
Goes into quite a lot of depth in some places that maybe didn't need to, but otherwise is an easy read.
He did a good job showing fans how Christina's career started and the good and bad things that happened to her along the way.
I have no problems reccomending this book. It's a good guide to Christina, just a shame it wasn't authourised by her.

Best Christina Bio!
This is a great Christina autobiography! It's up to date, informative & entertaining. Me, being a huge fan, I had to get it & I'm glad I did. She went from teen sensation to pop music icon with her phenomenal vocals, flamboyant fahsions, sassy attitude & impressive performance skills. This is the Dirrty Diva's story!

Good book
This is the first and only current biography of one of pop music's most controversial ladies, Christina Aguilera. I recieved this book as a Christimas present and eagerly devoured it in two days. I found it to be a quick, yet balanced and imformative biography. The book itself isn't one of those fan guides stuffed with pictures- it's more like a behind-the-scenes look at Christina Aguilera's life up to 2003. In it, you'll find information about her early years singing, her days on The Mickey Mouse Club, her determination to become a singing star, how she got a record deal, the story behind Christina's transformation from a sweet innocent girl to an independant young woman, the story behind her controversial romance with Jorge Santos, and much, much more. This book does not always chronicle Christina as a perfect robot, it shows us that she has faults and feelings, too. You'll even get to read about the making of "Lady Marmelade" and Christina and Britney's "rivalry." This book allows you to take a peek and see what Christina's life really is as a pop star. THIS IS SHEET MUSIC!
First and foremost, THIS IS NOT A BIO OF CHRISTINA AGUILERA, IT IS SHEET MUSIC! If you are looking for a bio of Christina, try Molly MacDermont's, it's informative and a quick read.

This is a nicely put-together collection of Christina's songs, all bound up in a beautiful color introduction book. This includes all of her songs from her debut disc, including hits such as "What A Girl Wants," "Reflection," "Genie In A Bottle," "I Turn to You" and the original (no rap) "Come On Over." It also has some wonderful non-single tracks like "When You Put Your Hands on Me" and Christina's favorite of the album, the soulful "Obvious."

While I have several of these books for different artists (BSB, *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and of course Christina), this is perhaps the most stunning because this one includes an introduction from the man who "discovered" Christina. It's very informative and a wonderful source of info for hardcore fans like myself.

Some of the songs are excellent (if a bit on the difficult level), while other lack proper keys, there are several obvious mistakes in this book, and a few not-so obvious.

If nothing else, it's a wonderful guide to her lyrics and vocal arrangements and an informative behhind the scenes look at the album, the song selections, and the fun of putting it together! A must for any fan.

Not a book, but a tape...
Actually, this is not a book, but a tape of her self titled debut CD! It is an amazing piece of material and I truly hope that you buy it!I would suggest buying it on CD myself, but if you only have a tape player, whynot? Her first two songs off the CD do not even begin to express her vocaltalent. Her next single, I Turn To You (due April 6th) is probably one ofthe best songs showcasing her amazing voice!Buy this tape now!

The photography is engaging and Cherlooks amazing
If the movie reaches the level of these photographs,or the descriptions by the director Steven Antin-then the movie will be great entertainment. The director has had a love affair with the old art of true burlesque,and has gone to great lengths to transform his passion to this movie. There are plenty of pictures here to illustrate the film and please fans of all the stars. I for one am really thankful to see Cher at the helm of this project and chuckled when she described the coaching of tears out of Christina.The book is a good deal for the money!The paper is nice and all the actors have great shots of their performances.

The future of Blues and Soul
I have listened to Christina Aguilera's CD. She demonstrates the class of a real blues singer. No piano player could ever resist her and would just die to play for her at any dinner club.

Dude this book rocks! The peices are hard for beginners but don't give up these are great peices that would only inspire you to do more and realize thateven a little bit of knowlege can carry you such a long way _ if you have the feeling play it with that feeling and then you are beyond good you are playing it perfectly

Best Piano Book!
Christina is my favorite artist and I love playing her songs on the piano.When this book came out, I bought it right away.Each song is so powerful and so emotional.They are all great songs to play.There are so many different genres of music in this book: Hip Hop, Slow Blues, Jazz, Rock, Pop and a few others.

Beginners, watch out
This book is very difficult on piano, I'm having a real hard time with Soar and The Voice Within, even Fighter is fairly difficult. I've been playing piano for 9 years now, so I'm not some beginner saying this. There are some easier songs in this, but I suggest for piano Michelle Branch, she's has much easier songs for piano, guitar, other way around. Or even Avril for piano, but not this. You have to be good to know how to play these songs. Anyway, there's no tabs but the notes are dead accurate, no mistakes and it's really well written. Christina must have some great musicians behind her because it's really tough, I haven't got her 1st book, but this is probably much improvement. Christina wrights really good, strong voice, also reaches some really high notes, very effective and this is an amazing book. Not recommended for beginners though. Even on guitar, it's just chords and still manages to be harder then anything Blink's ever done. But Tom's a horrible guitarist, so I wouldn't lean to much into that. Get Mine, Get Yours or Dirrty are easier songs on here, Makeover is pretty tough, very nice to play though. Fighter is an amazing song for guitar, oh, you can also play this on flute, because it uses the same notes as piano. Don't play flute so don't know how hard it is, but probably pretty hard just the same. ... Read more

not great....
This book has some nice pictures, but no new information any X-Tina fan doesn't already know. The problem with these books is, they become outdated really quickly. This isn't the place to go if you want up-to-the-minute facts about what Christina is doing.
Second, this book gives some wrong, confusing information. For instance, the book mentions a brother named Casey born when Christina was 2, and it says that twin girls were born when Christina was 5. The only siblings Christina has ever mentioned are her younger sister Rachel (who isn't a twin) and a younger half-brother Mike. Why does this book say theres another girl named Stephanie? it's very wierd. So i'd skip this book if I were you....

An interesting look at Christina Aguilera's life
This book provides a nicely detailed 143-page biography about Christina Aguilera. Since it was written back in 2000, it doesn't cover Christina's life after releasing her first CD. From the photo on the front cover, you can tell this book does not chronicle her life up to now. However, this book is filled with interesting information about Christina in an easy-to-read format that first-time fans would find interesting. I wouldn't recommend this book to die-hard Christina Aguilera fans as they would probably know most of the information in the book. It's one of the most detailed biographies written about her, with eight pages of photos. At the end of the book, the author gives a recap of Christina's life up to early 2000. Also included are a discography and recommended Christina websites. This book makes a great introduction to the life of Christina Aguilera.

Not Very Imformative...
This is another title in the "Real Life Reader Biography" series. These books are quick, short biographies of famous singers, actors, entertainers, and atheletes. I enjoy reading them when I want to learn more about someone, (there are over 100 titles in the series) but these books do not give you much information if you are planning on doing a report or a project about the person. This entry in the series about Christina Aguilera discusses her life up until the release of "Christina Aguilera". It includes many black-and-white photos of Christina and plenty of sidebars. However, this book wasn't very imformative, and it was only 32 pages. Plus, the printing was VERY large. This book doesn't really tell about Christina's life outside of her singing career, and that was one thing that I really wanted to find out in this book. I would recommend this book to younger Christina Aguilera fans or to anyone who hasn't ever read any material about her life before. For those fans who want a longer and more detailed biography of Christina Aguilera, I would recommend you reading the book "Christina Aguilera: A Star is Made", by Pier Dominguez.

Just by looking at the cover u can tell this is a fake cd.Christina never had implants and in 2000 her hair was long not short like the 1940's act Chris is doing right now.You gotta think to her 2000 videos which says shes sorta flat chested then this comes out then the next video.Oh so she got implants n took them off 4 her next video.I don't Think so!!!If u buy this ur getting ripped off.Peace out.
