It is an interval training tape running approximately 45 minutes. I use it when I am pressed for time and want a quick workout. Of course, the big selling point of this video is the model Lucky Vanous (of Diet Coke fame). It is refreshing to see handsome men in a fitness video, but outside of his short introduction about his life and career, this is really a very good tape. It is not super challenging the aerobic sections (3 in all) are mostly marches (with heavy hands, it can be a good workout). I especially like the fact that it is easy to follow (no complicated steps at all). The strength training (3 in all) requires weights in which your legs are still moving (I use 5 lb weights). It can be challenging if you really work at it. The abs section is brief but shows some unusual moves (and Lucky takes off his shirt). This tape is a keeper for me because it gives me a very good workout in a short amount of time. It was a pleasant surprise.
Extractions: (PEOPLE) When Lucky Vanous took his shirt off and sent an office full of women into a swoon in 1994, he thought he was just hawking Diet Coke on TV. He had no idea he was sparking a social phenomenon. But along with becoming one of PEOPLE's 50 Most Beautiful in 1994, Vanous also graced the cover of Psychology Today, for an article titled "The Beefcaking of America." "We've started to accept men as objects of desire (and) this is making some guys nervous," the magazine's then-editor, Hara Estroff Maranom, told USA Today at the time. There's more to Vanous than just beef, however. "I'm more introverted than you might think," says the actor, now 41. "I thought taking off my shirt and stuff was kind of cheesy."

Extractions: Anxious to stay contemporary and relevant, the Nashville Network (AKA the Pick-Up Channel) scaled back on their "Dukes Of Hazzard" re-runs in favor of original programming geared toward a more upscale audience... people who use their cash cards at the local 7-11. The flagship for this new programming strategy was "18 Wheels Of Justice", a series meant to inspire a whole new generation drive enormous SUVs, carry guns, and hire personal fitness trainers. The natural choice for the male lead was Lucky Vanous, the model/actor/mostly model whose brawny chest and washboard stomache boosted sales of Diet Coke among man-hungry consumers of every conceivable sexual orientation. Vanous was given the full set of dramatic luggage needed for a primetime action-adventure stud-muffin... The tragic loss of his family, murdered by a professional hitman who was just clever enough to hide explosives inside a bomb. The lurking menace of a master criminal, played by a walrus who resembled G. Gordon Liddy.
