The Ultimate Improv Creation Government agent brad sherwood had read some reports about certain robotic partsbeing smuggled across the Canadian border and had managed to trace them to http://crankymediaguy.com/groovefunkistan/fanfiction/ultimate.html
Extractions: By Katie Ever wonder why Ryan Stiles is such a great WL player? How he is just the genius behind some of the best moments and why he is sort of considered the star? I mean why is he so good? I found out, he's not human, he is actually a robot created by Colin and Greg. In the late 1970s Colin Mochrie was attempting to create the ultimate funnyman. He worked for many years and his creation got so out of hand that it was too late when he realized it was over 6 feet tall, but it was too far close to being complete to go back and make the legs shorter so he left it as it was. During the course of making his creation, Colin was in need of certain parts that were not available in Canada. Luckily he found assistance from Greg Proops, an American from San Francisco. Together Proops helped Mochrie smuggle certain parts across the border as well as helped Colin in building his ultimate comedian. The night came to bring the creation to life. When the switch was thrown, the massive machine stood up and said "..And that's why the French don't wash!" "It's alive!" yelled Colin. He named his creation Ryan-bot Greg had to return to the states but kept contact with Colin because they had to monitor Ryan-bot closely for the first few experimental months. It mostly worked as a stand up comic working in small clubs. Eventually Colin, a theater school graduate decided to program Ryan-bot to do improvisational comedy as well. Government agent Brad Sherwood had read some reports about certain robotic parts being smuggled across the Canadian border and had managed to trace them to Greg and Colin, but he still had no idea of their 6'6" robotic improviser. Agent Sherwood posed as an aspiring actor and managed to get on an episode of WL when it was in NY. His good fortune landed him in the same episode with Greg, Colin and Ryan who first appeared as a trio. Brad was positive he'd found the smugglers, but Greg and Colin were wise to Brad's plan. "Greg," said Colin. "I think that Sherwood guy is onto us. Listen you and Ryan-bot are scheduled to appear on another show with him right?" "Yeah," said Greg. "Well after that show tomorrow night, I want you to take him down. Ryan-bot's been programmed, just get Sherwood alone, Ryan will do the rest." "Right Colin." said Greg "but one thing, don't kill him! The last thing we need is a murder on our hands. Just bring him to me."

Extractions: By Cara Parts: 1 - When are we going to get to the house?" Ryan Stiles inquired lazily, stretching out his legs and covering half our small boat in the process. Really," Colin Mochrie answered. "This trip is taking longer than a hoedown feels." Patience is a virtue, boys." Josie Lawrence stretched out next to me. "I'm sure we'll all find out why Mr. Owen wanted us there." She spoke of our mysterious host. We were all going to be in the employ of a Mr. Owen, who claimed to have known us since our days on the British "Whose Line Is It Anyway?". But none of us had actually met the man. Still, we knew it was legit. He knew too much about us to be otherwise. Only bona-fide Whose Liners knew about Greg Proops' fascination for ... oops. Never mind. And he wouldn't have known me. I had been on a fair amount of British Whose Line episodes, but due to censorship no one had known me outside of hard-line British fans, until this past year on Drew's Line. I hope there'll be a lot of parties and things!" put in Charles Esten. He was a happy sort, always finding the happiness in occasions. His fans called him "Chip." The British players had another name for him: "stupid git." What, so you can show off to even more people?" scoffed Brad Sherwood. He squinted ever so slightly as the sun hit his brown eyes. Sherwood had always had that dark, mysterious appearance. I found it intriguing, but was legally prohibited from doing any more than that. Damn no-fawning rules. The man was so famous he even had a coterie of "minions" who followed his every move, but he had imposed a strict no-fawning rule.

After graduating high school, he came to Battle Creek MI in 1939 with his brother to start a new life. While there, he worked in the Eaton Manufacturing plant making aircraft valves for the war effort. However, it was not long before he was drafted into the navy. He was sent to the Great Lakes for 13 weeks to undergo basic training. After the completion of basic training, Sherwood was sent to service school for six weeks in Philadelphia. He then spent two more weeks undergoing the final segment of his training in San Francisco. After the completion of his training, Sherwood was stationed at a camp in Shoemaker California. He then made a number of stops until he reached his final destination on the island of Eulithi where he was assigned to his ship, a destroyer named the U.S.S. Hazelwood. Sherwood and the other 300 members of the crew were then ordered to set sail for the south pacific. While onboard, he served as a fireman first class where he was responsible for making sure the ships boilers ran properly. While serving on board he participated in many famous battles including Iwoa Jima, Okinawa, and the first carrier based raid on Tokyo before his ship was kamikazied on the 29

VISIONS '96 CONVENTION REVIEW By Brad Black Also present were the usual lot The Spirit Of sherwood, The Prydonians of Prynceton,The Elizabeth Sladen Information Network brad D. Black Michigan City, In. http://www.hermit.org/Blakes7/Convention/Visions96.html
Extractions: VISIONS '96 CONVENTION REVIEW by Brad Black This marked the 6th consecutive year I have attended the Visions convention. One might ask,"Why? Is there any star of Doctor Who or Blake's 7 you haven't met after six cons?" If you're asking this question I'm going to presume you haven't been to very many conventions. Meeting celebrities is only one reason to attend a convention. And probably not the most important one. Simply put a well run convention is vastly entertaining. The dealer rooms are a veritable mini-mall full of goodies you just can't get anywhere else (except mail order). And finally you get a chance to mingle with your fellow fans. I find it refreshing one or two weekends a year to be able to wear my Blake's 7 paraphernalia in public and not have to explain myself. For the sci-fi fan a convention is a place to meet other people who think the same way you do (scary, huh). A case in point, where else but at a con could the following conversation take place? Seven of us pile into an elevator hoping to make for the lobby. Except for Paula, I have never met any of these people. The elevator indicator reads "UP". Your clueless reviewer pushes the "L" button and the lift obligingly heads down in defiance of the "UP" indicator. One rider asks, "Did he use the manual over ride?" And Paula leads a group of strangers in a chorus of, "NO! He reversed the polarity of the neutron flow."
