Though they may come from different backgroundsLeeshock hails from Clifton, N.J., while Chevolleau's roots are in Toronto, Canada, where Earth is filmedboth actors are similar in their exuberance and love of humor. Chevolleau exhibits the same self-confident cockiness that his computer-hacker-turned-rebel character, Augur, does. Similarly, Leeshock's relaxed intensity in real life shows in his character, Liam, a man whose mixed Taelon-human heritage puts him a unique position as he walks the thin line between his roles as a leader for the rebellion and employee of the Taelon Da'an. As Earth wraps up its third season, Chevolleau and Leeshock sat down with Science Fiction Weekly to talk about the show's past, present and future.

Extractions: ROBERT LEESHOCK "The role of Liam Kincaid on Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict is certainly different from anything I've done before in my career, but that's what makes it especially interesting", said Leeshock. "My other television roles were pretty standard 'leading man' types, but with Kincaid, I get to create him from scratch there is no model for someone with his mysterious lineage." Leeshock's network television credits include recurring roles on Beverly Hills 90210 , and the popular daytime soap operas Loving and All My Children . He also appeared in the telenovella Crystal Empire and the comedy series Life's Work . His film credits the independent features Me and Veronica Trash Elysian Fields and Murder Prior to turning his hand to a full-time acting career, Leeshock completed an engineering degree at New York's Cornell University in 1989. A native of New Jersey, he moved to New York in the early 1980s, where he undertook selective scene study training with Wyn Handmann as well studying the Meisner Technique, Comedy Improvisation and Voice training. He went on to perform with several theater companies, including Complex, West Bank Cafe, SoHo Repertory. Samuel Beckett and Actor's Factory. Leeshock lived in Los Angeles from 1993 to 1996, where he pursued his acting career and wrote a one-man show he says was good background for his role as Liam Kincaid. "Writing my own show was a similar exercise to creating a member of a species completely new to Earth. Liam Kincaid is a very physical character, but he also has a very mind-centered physiology. It's going to be both exciting and challenging, playing those two aspects off each other."

Form there I started to discover the dark nature of the character which continued to evolve. [re: rubbing shakarava] The Shakarava is sort of an involuntary response and hence, it's almost an unconscious reaction. The Shakarava is a connection to my alien heritage.
