A two-time DramaLogue Award winner for acting, Ms. Dobro has appeared in over 50 stage productions, Off Broadway, in regional theatres across the country and in Los Angeles. She has performed in every genre, from Shakespeare to farce to heavy drama. An accomplished Improv performer, she has appeared in various comedy clubs in New York City and at The Improv, The Comedy Store and The Ice House in Los Angeles. Her most challenging Improv experience was the totally improvised musical "Anything You Say," which she performed Off-Broadway on Theatre Row.

BILL MUMY: Bill Mumy will be traveling to Vancouver this week to film the sequel to "It's A Good Life" titled "It's Still a Good Life" for the "Twilight Zone" TV series. Bill will be reprising the role of "Anthony Fremont," the kid who send you into the cornfield if you upset him. Bill Mumy's daughter Liliana (who costarred in "Santa Clause II," currently has a recurring role on "My Wife And Kids,") plays his daughter, Amy Fremont. Liliana looks just like her dad! Cloris Leachman may be involved, although that cannot be confirmed right now. It's 30 years later in Peakesville, Ohio... the village that was separated from the world by Anthony all those years ago. Originally a visual artist, Carrie studied painting and drawing at The Camberwell School of Art in London and received her BFA from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh. After several successful art shows, Carrie went back to her first love, the theatre. She studied acting in New York with Stella Adler, Terry Schrieber and Wynn Handman, and classically with Aida Brown Mether, a teacher from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, London. She received a full dance scholarship with Broadway Dance and the Nat Horne Company, both in Manhattan, and spent many years kicking up her heels.

Extractions: Q Hypernauts was your first time acting in a science fiction, wasn't it? Even though the scripting and the story plot for the series were nicely done, did it concern you that you would be playing an alien holy person giving guidance to three teens? (Not your usual concept outside of science fiction) A Actually, Hypernauts wasn't the first taste of sci-fi I'd had in Television. I had done a small role as a human doctor on an episode of Babylon 5 before working on Hypernauts. I'd never been an alien before, however, and the whole idea fascinated me. The fact that Kulai was a new alien species meant I could do anything I wanted in creating the race. As far as being holy, well, how often do you get to play the religious figure for an entire people. It was a blast!! Q How were you chosen to play Kulai? A A whole series of auditions, just like everyone else. Audition for the casting people, then a call back to producers, then a callback to the network. Q Were you interested in science fiction prior to acting in a science fiction series?
