Extractions: Bradley, OK is located on State Highway 19 between Alex and Lindsay. The cemetery is located at the southeast corner of the town. For easier location of the graves, the cemetery is divided into three sections, West Side, East Side and Middle. The Bradley Cemetery was established about 1905 on land given by Winter Payne Bradley and the Terry family. Each donated 5 acres. Texanna Bradley was the first person to be buried on the land her husband donated. She had actually died 13 years earlier and been buried on the home place. When W. P. Bradley donated the land he had her body moved. Capt. J. B. Terry was a civil war veteran. Unfortunately there are no dates on his marker. The Bradley cemetery is a free cemetery, meaning that no charge is made for the plots, but grave sites are restricted to those who are residents or former residents of the area or have family buried there. The cemetery listings is in 3 tables. I suggest you use your browser search function to search for the surrnames you want.

Extractions: THE OVERBROOK PRESS PAPERS DESCRIPTION: Correspondence, memoranda, manuscripts, business records and printed material of the Overbrook Press of Stamford, Connecticut. The Press was founded by Frank Altschul, 1887-1981, investment banker, civic leader, philanthropist and bibliophile, and began publication in 1934 with Margaret B. Evans as resident designer and compositor. (Earlier records in the files are from the printing-related activities of the Helealt Corporation, which was the fiscal parent of the Press.) The files relate primarily to 149 of the books, pamphlet, and broadsides printed by the Overbrook Press until its last year of activity, 1969. Particularly noteworthy are the files relating to the publication of Manon Lescaut (1958), Robert Louis Stevenson's Inland Voyage (1938), and Herbert Cahoon's 1963
