FINANCIAL AID Helen McGuire Hahn Scholarship, S. Virginia and Berta M. Newell Scholarship Scholarship/Loan,Marian Camper Fuller Scholarship, Mary Clay Hiner Scholarship http://www.longwood.edu/Development/undergrad_cat/financial_aid.htm
Extractions: FINANCIAL AID General Information The purpose of the Longwood College student aid program is to provide financial assistance to students who, without such aid, would place an unreasonable financial hardship on their families. The College assumes that the primary responsibility for financing a college education lies with the students and their parents. Awards by the College are intended to supplement the family's contribution. The Financial Aid Office offers financial information and counseling to all students attending Longwood. The types of financial assistance offered include grants and scholarships, loans, and student employment. Eligibility for these programs is determined by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid which is available from high schools or Longwood College. Students should apply prior to March 1 of the academic year for which funds are being requested. Specific information about financial aid may be obtained by calling 804.395.2077 or writing the Financial Aid Office, Longwood College, 201 High Street, Farmville, VA 23909. Visitors are welcome. Satisfactory Academic Progress If a student fails to make satisfactory academic progress, the student may be ineligible to receive aid. Most programs either have a limit on the number of semesters of eligibility and/or a limit on the total amount of funds that can be received. To maintain satisfactory academic progress, a student must meet the Academic Probation and Suspension Policy as stated in this catalog. Also, some programs require a student to progress a grade level each year in order to maintain eligibility. Grade level progression is as follows: 1-24 credit hours, Freshman; 25-55 credit hours, Sophomore; 56-88 credit hours, Junior; and 89 credit hours and above, Senior.
Extractions: Q: Mr. Tadin, you say this took place in 1964? A: Yes, sir, about that time. Q: Could you tell us what month that was in '64? A: It was in the later summer months, in the later part of the summer. I couldn't tell you exactly what month, but it was in the later part of the summer. Q: Now, what are you referring to as the "summer months"? A: Could have been around July. Q: Well, now, you say it could have been around July or it was during July? A: It could have been around July. Q: Could it have been around June? A: Could have. Q: Could it have been around May? A: I couldn't answer that far. Q: Could it have been around A: It could have been between June and August, I will put it that way. Q: Between June and August? A: Right. Q: Now, what building is that that you say Mr. Shaw came out of at that time? A: At the big hangar on the right-hand side as you come from Dymond Road and make a turn, and there is an incline, and the building on the right, which was a large building, not the large door but that small door, he and Dave came out of there. Q: Now, how big is that hangar?

Extractions: SiteMap This report of all USMS All-Americans and each year they were named is new and your help is needed to improve it. Whereever one swimmer's All-American honors are divided over more than one name, as might happen when names are changed in marriage, we should change all information to the current name. Please report any data you observe where this correction needs to be made. Further, this report is made possible by the use of a "permanent swimmer id code" . When the "permanent swimmer id code" is assigned to one swimmer, it will never be assigned to another. The intent is to continue to use the same code even when the swimmer stops swimming so that the clear identification of this person and his or her swimming records will never be never lost. So, please report multiple names for the same person, or any missing information, or other comments, by clicking on the mailbox above or below.
