Our primary focus is on the quantitative dynamics of assemblies of interacting neurons, with main emphasis on the visual system. Our long-term goal is the development of predictively accurate theoretical tools that describe interacting neurons mathematically and how input lends to neural response. Our theoretical methods include modern applied mathematical analysis conjoined with new advances in computer simulation techniques.
