We have serious concerns about this legislation as it stands at this time that we think you should know about. First , this bill includes several major provisions that could jeopardize the quality of education provided to children with disabilities and their rights under current law . Because the bill was only introduced last week, there has not been time to assess the impact of many of the bill's other provisions. Thus, the full impact of the bill on access to a free and appropriate education for children with disabilities is not yet fully known.
