Intervention is needed before public sentiment swings towards even more restrictive OHV regulations. This organization is not state funded, relying on private contributions, but is supported by the BLM, NFS, and Utah State Parks and Recreation. As members of the Utah Trail Patrol, we are asked to sign a pledge that states we will donate a minimum of 10 hours per year for service projects. This pledge also requires us to obey all state and federal rules and regulations whether we are just recreating or on trail patrol duties.
