Great Book!!
I was on a recent flight from Chicago to L.A. and was speaking with the gentleman next to me.Come to find out we had both lived in the Providence/Boston area recently and he talked about how beautiful Rhode Island is.He then grabbed Ms. Izzo's book that he had with him and I went thru each page.All I can say is INCREDIBLE! I ended up buying the book because it really brought a little of piece of Rhode Island to LA.

Sights of Rhode Island
Wow!!!!! I've lived in Rhode Island the majority of my and I've never seen its essence captured so well in a book of photography. Sure it's a small state but there's a lot to see. The photos practically jump off the pages and the captions give you something to think about.
I've seen Ms. Izzo's work in shops around the State but never in a such a comprehensive format. If I didn't already live here this book would make me want to jump on a plane and visit the Rhode Island for myself. Thank you Ms. Izzo from the smallest State with the longest name.

city lights
Stephanie's book is gorgeous. She has clearly set the bar high for any other photographers that may be hoping to capture the heart and soul of Lil' Rhody. The book is very informative, citing historians, and has some never before seen maps of RI. I keep it on my coffee table so that my friends can oooh and ahhh over my home state. I would describe her photos as bold, moody, and vibrant all shot in HD!
Too bad this is the only state she has done a photo book for.
If you live/lived in RI or know somebody that loves RI, this book is for you.

Great Rhode Island memories
The Cliff Walk, The Breakers, the Newport Bridge, Thames Street... They're all here. If you love Newport, Providence, or Rhode Island in general, you will love this book.

It is a beautiful photography book. Full page photos with a short caption on the facing page. The captions are well researched and reveal interesting details about the subject matter... everything from historical details to the Native American names for the place.

Stephanie Izzo takes beautiful photographs. She ranges from artistic renderings of Providence's reclaimed riverfront to romantic, bridge shots at sunset. Whether you live in Rhode Island and want to show off your home state or, like me, live far away and want to relive a summer spent in Newport, this is a great book to have and show off.

Must have for any photography lover.
