Product Description
A worldwide earthquake. A planet in chaos. Reality's fabric - space, time, matter - unraveling. Into this, a man without a past awakens.

A catastrophic earthquake has struck the entire world. As the survivors stagger toward an impossible recovery, they discover matters are worse than they realized. It appears the fabric of reality is fraying at the seams. The laws of space, time, and matter are breaking down. Some people adapt; some don't. Some fall prey to newly existent fates worse than death. Whether or not the world can survive such flux is anyone's guess.

A man loses his memory. A father loses his boy. A woman loses everything and is on the verge of losing her mind. As civilization spirals out of control, three strangers find themselves transforming as drastically as their environment. When their paths intersect, they discover answers to their respective mysteries that could only exist in the world as it is becoming.

A work of metaphysical fiction, Free Will Flux is an epic saga and a spiritual parable. A legal psychedelic. A love story. And it's a glimpse of where we might be headed...if we aren't already there. (edited by author)

2-0 out of 5 stars A confusing book
This book is about people morphing back and forth from one character to another after a fluxing event. There were so many changes of characters, people changing into other people, that I could not keep track of who was who, and I felt like I should have taken notes to keep everything straight. This book also jumps back and forth among so many characters, narrating one character for a while, and then stopping the story line of that person, and going to another's story line, which I also felt contributed to the problem of this jumbled book.I can not recommend it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Kindle Edition Free Will flux is fun and thought provoking.
First novel? Couldn't tell because it is so well written. I look forward to more and I love "fiction" with a non fiction what if and this is possible spin. Makes ya think. This reads like the author is having fun and delivering a message at the same time.

5-0 out of 5 stars BRILLIANT!
I really enjoyed this book.I could not put it down. I am usually clever enough to figure out the "surprise" before it happens in a book or movie, but this book kept me "surprised" all the way through.I want to read more so I hope he writes a sequel.Really.... every page was just brilliant!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best science fiction novel I've ever read
I was telling somone a few years ago how I wanted to find a fiction writer that could make me think like non-fiction New Thought writers like Tolle, Walsch, and Chopra and capture my interest like a well-written adventure novel could.
That's exactly what Free Will Flux does.It combines new scientific theories with the intensity of a fast-moving thriller while making me think about my own views on the evolution of mankind and what I want my role to be.
It was no surprise that the author attented film school as the novel reads like a modern movie with several simultaneous plots and twists that reconcile them. This a novel that opened my mind on many different levels and entertained far beyond expectations. It is a must read in my opinion and I can't wait for the sequel.Get this book!

5-0 out of 5 stars Heinlein for the 21st Century
As a 3rd-6th grade elementary school student in the early 1960s, I grew up reading everything Sci-Fi and Fantasy I could get my hands on written by Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, Hugh Lofting, and others, and finished high school in 1970, reading more complex things by Jules Verne, Ray Bradbury, and others. It gave me a deep appreciation for the genre, and for the lifelong habit of reading all sorts of books, fiction, non-fiction, historical, crime, sci-fi, fantasy, it just doesn't matter.I was unable to make each of the Harry Potter books last more than two or three days.I only discovered "The Hobbit" and the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy in the last 10 years, even though they were recommended to my by an uncle in the 1970s -- my loss! But once I got into "LotR", I couldn't put it down.

The same was true with Free Will Flux -- a non-stop read -- and I see a whole "new Heinlein" about to emerge in the 21st Century.Sage Kalmus' writing is destined to be regarded by a new generation of readers with the same reverence as those of us who know and appreciate Heinlein's and Asimov's work.Free Will Flux is a compelling read, with all the surprises one comes to expect from classic Sci-Fi.

If you are a fan of the classics of the early-mid 20th century, you will thoroughly enjoy Free Will Flux.It is a breath of fresh air compared to some of the sci-fi slop that dominated the 1980s and 1990s. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Disapppointed
I believe in walk-ins and was looking forward to reading the book because I suspect a friend of mine to be a walkin. However, I just didn't care for this book.I was very disappointed. It just isn't very well written.

I also couldn't grasp how the photos of different locations related to each of the chapter.A cathedral in Paris?A statue in Bath?A library in Ephesus? The images/photos had no connection with the text or the content in each chapter.I wondered if the photos were "filler" to make the book bigger or maybe it was from someones past life regression?Anyway, it seemed out of place.

I also didn't care for comparisons to scriptures or religious interpretations, such as the blood of Jesus etc.I just couldn't connect with the different religious undertones and dogma.I just wasn't expecting that in this type of book.

I did enjoy the recorded regression sessions of her patients, however. It seemed that in these recorded sessions I was given the opportunity to come to my own interpretations and conclusions without some of her bias.

5-0 out of 5 stars Yes, I'm a Believer
Prior to encountering Dr Mitchell's book, I was a 'Doubting Thomas' but having voraciously read it five times in as many months, I am now convinced of its powerfully liberating truth. As a further validation, I have actually experienced the phenomenon. Just after Christmas, 2006, while I was watching a re-run of 'Uncle Buck', I felt John Candy enter my core as a 'walk-in' (more of a wobble-in, really). He then grabbed the remote and asked for some popcorn. In the three months since taking up 'inner residence', he's eaten me out of house and home, used my credit card to purchase several 'marital aids' for my pastor's wife and run up a huge long-distance phone bill talking to John Belushi. I've given up trying to get the rent he still owes from February. In view of this distressing new dimension to my psychic perception, I'm seriously considering applying for a 'soul exchange'. I think Mahatma Gandhi would be a far more convivial, and much less demanding, entity of enlightenment.

3-0 out of 5 stars Needs EDITING!
For the most part an interesting book, but severely in need of editing. There are numerous spelling ("cemetary," "short-sited," etc.), punctuation, and grammatical errors, as well as repetitiveness--Dr. Mitchell often begins a section "in medias res," then repeats that very same section again, word for word, on the next page. This leaves the reader jumping forward and backward in time with regard to the session being discussed, which is somewhat disorienting. Also, the strange use of odd fonts is quite distracting: on at least one occasion, the font changed in the middle of a sentence, switching from the rather flowery bold font (see "Look Inside" preview) to a regular Times Roman. Very jolting.

The stories themselves are fascinating, and I am glad to have been able to delve deeper into the world of Walk-Ins through reading them. It would have been helpful, however, to have such information---which would likely challenge most people's paradigms---presented in a more coherent manner. As it is, the writing style flips back and forth between fiction-like narrative, poetry/quotations, and layman-directed clinical observations. More confusing still was the absence of end quotes in many places, which left me re-reading passages trying to figure out who was speaking and when, as the speaker would often shift within the same sentence.

Also, aside from the list of questions on the back cover, there is little if any information provided on how to tell if you're a Walk-In. The majority of the book is devoted to the accounts of counseling sessions Dr. Mitchell conducted, so perhaps it is assumed one can glean the information from the various stories presented.

Overall, I would recommend reading this book for the underlying information, but check first to see if your local library has a copy before spending the money on it.

5-0 out of 5 stars An Eye Opener!

You'll will finish this book with some new spiritual insights of yourself, and those around you (if not, you weren't paying attention). This is a must read foranyone who believes in reincarnation. This will give you a whole NEW twiston life and its purpose(mine is highlighted throughout).

5-0 out of 5 stars A unique book!
Anyone with an interest in this subject will find this book absolutely fascinating. The descriptions and characteristics of walk-ins and soul exchanges are detailed and easily understood, but the case histories keptme riveted to the book. This book speaks to the soul and renews therealization that the universe has many different dimensions, life scenariosand plans.I loved this book! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Dweller on Two Planets (or the Dividing Way)
While searching for the title "Dweller on Two Planets" by Phylos the Thibetan, I came across a second title "Dweller on Two Planets or the Dividing Way" by Frederick Oliver. The front on the first book was blue and on the second it was yellow. The publishers were different.

I bought both books thinking they were two versions of the same book and wanted to be able to inspect both. Imagine my disappointment when they both arrived and they were both yet a third version! Now I have two identical copies. Don't get me wrong, I love this book and wanted to read it for the second time. It has been 15 years since the first reading and am eager to jump in again.

I was curious as to whether the author or publisher had included additional or different text in either version. I am, however, not happy with the way Amazon presented these books on their website. It is very easy to believe based on the way Amazon presents this that there are significant differences in these two titles and there are not. I believe it is the responsibilty of the vendor to present the information so the customer can make an informed purchase.

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing illustration of Karma creation and balancing
This book offers the best illustration of the creation (in a huge way) of karma by one soul in the time of Atlantis, and the details of his subsequent lifetime(s) spent balancing that karma with that other soul.

The book is a tough read.
The first fifth of the book or so is very steep both in languaging and concepts offered.
I think this must act as a sort of "gateway" to weed out all but serious students, because the book as a whole is extremely esoteric.
After that first part, the book settles into a fascinating read.

The book is divided into three distinct books that take place in three distinct places and times.
The identity (soul) of the narrator is the common thread.

If you have read this book before, but not in some time, why not pick it up again and see what it has to say to you this time around?

5-0 out of 5 stars Fascinating Info About Atlantis
I read this book as part of my research into the legend of the lost continent of Atlantis which is bordering on an obsession for me right now. It's like I can feel Atlantis calling to me from across the centuries.

The writing style is very unusual. It contains many profound statements about Jesus Christ, the meaning of life, good and evil, etc.

To me the best parts were the descriptions of life on Atlantis. These include not only the advanced technology but also the underlying spiritual principles, social structure, criminal justice system, etc..This information is presented in the form of a first person narrative meaning the author claims to have actually lived on Atlantis in a previous life.

We can call it 'technology' but it was more a knowledge of the fundamental forces of nature.Eventually the high priests inAtlantis (not everyone else) found they didn't need physical air planes and things like this to travel. They could project their bodies to other places. This was just the result of a more advanced understanding of those same mysterious 'night forces'.

Whether or not I actually believe everything stated in this book I would say no.I don't see how anyone could be living on the planet Venus in physical form.We know now that Venus is an uninhabitable, volcanic wasteland. If anyone is living there it's not in the physical form that we are familiar with.

However I do believe in Atlantis and the information presented here is consistent with the statements made by the American psychic Edgar Cayce who I do believe in.

I would say the author had a lot of knowledge about Atlantis and other arcane subjects and was some type of mystic or supernatural being.

Either that or he had done a lot of research in these areas and then constructed a very elaborate and detailed fictional story for some unknown reason.

In any case the story is consistent throughout and doesn't contradict itself. It all seems to make sense as far as how the sequence of events are described.

My own conclusion is this book contains real events and facts about Atlantis which are then embellished to create an interesting fictional story.

Or possibly the author himself really believes it but he himself was deceived by some weird spirit guides.

5-0 out of 5 stars Everything old is new again!
This book is a "must read" for anyone with an interest inAtlantis, reincarnation, or the relationship of soul to mind , to eternity. Written as an autobiography of an enlightened person who is recalling his past lives, it is not only entertaining, but for those who can accept the unconventional wisdom, it is astounding. It is an affirmation that, " what a man soweth... he shall surely reap".

5-0 out of 5 stars Not really fiction....
I've read this book about 100 times. This book is not for everyone. It istoo profound for most people in ways that today's people neither"want" to think about, nor care to think about. Books like thisare listed as "fiction," but this is not.If you are of apsychic bent or deeply interested in what is written, this book -- as ithad been with me -- was proven-out many times in remarkable ways. Aswith most things metaphyscial, since "science" seems both"god and king" of our day, who would believe the book -- letalone any of my (proven-out -- to me) words about it?This book has thestamp of the Holy Breath about it. If you are a seeker, reading this won'tbe a waste of time. Being a "doer" of its universal words willsave you untold .... Here is a little question for you (for which youmight have the answer) after reading the book:Why is a pyramid a part(the FIRST part!)of the Great Seal of the United States (it's on the backof dollar bill)?NO ONE talks about it! We are ostensibly Not a country ofpyramids. And the "eagle" on the other side of our Great Seal(it does appear AFTER the pyramid -- is it really an eagle? It is alwaysseen behind the president. Why not the pyramid? This is the LEAST of themessages which one might "glean" from a study of this book.Greater lessons are in the book. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Inner Whispers spiritual book review
This is a collection of spiritual messages channelled by deep trance medium April Crawford, messages mostly from her guide Veronica. These messages answer many spiritual questions and provide guidance for our earthly lives. They also stimulate thought about spiritual matters. Some of the messages need re-reading a few times to aid understanding. This is a good book to dip into when you have a few spare minutes. Because of synchronicity a randomly selected message will be appropriate for your present moment. Try it!

Excellent book. Written in short paragraphs, it allows one to digest the message before moving on to the next topic. Have read Parting Notes, and this book follows with so much truth. Finished it and started reading it again. If you need someone to answer 'what should I do?' or 'why am I feeling like this?' or 'Why is this happening?', you should spend some time with this author. You will find peace and answers. Perspective. Priceless. I look forward to my personal conversation with Veronica.

5-0 out of 5 stars An Inspiring Read
This book is very gripping and interesting.I found it very neat to hear about the different lives of Edgar Cayce. The book is a bit scrambled in the idea that it is sometimes confusing to know who is talking and in what person.

4-0 out of 5 stars Intimates Through Time
This book is about the past lives of several of Edgar Cayce's friends and family members and neighbors who were interviewed by the author.Interesting and easy to read for those who want to know more about reincarnation, it also provides some historical insights into life during ancient Egypt and other periods of history.

This book was a terrible dissapointment. The author claimsto have been anvisor to Pharoh, Tribal Chief and beloved leaderin many of his past lives.I find his delusions of granduer in poor form.I was so disgusted with the author that I chose not to finish reading this book. The writing techinque was poor, The infromation given was scattered and hard to follow. The author must think his audience a fool who will beleive anything he writes. It is like he didn't even try to produce a quality book, just adding another title to his list. Have you ever met someone who would lie to make friends? That is the impressinn I got from Jess Stern. Don't buy this book .It is a waste of your time and money.

2-0 out of 5 stars to much preaching , not enough reference to actual readings
first i apologize for using this forum. i wish to comment on Edgar Cayce, on the millennium, by Mr Stearn . i was unable to find the proper outlet for this book.i was disapointed in the content of the book. it failed toprovide any real insight into the millennium. the ideas in this book couldbe summed up in very few words. Mr. Stearn feels that there will be nocatastrophic events to mark the millennium, just a series of unidentifiedevents, with no specifics given to back up exactly what or when any eventwill take place. this was pourly refferenced. please take the time to readand display examples of mr. Cayce's readings that pertain to this title. iexpected to have the prophets words on the subject not Mr. Stearns personalviews. the name EDGAR CAYCE should not be in the title of this book.i ownand have read many of the books extrapolated from the readings of Mr. Cayceincluding, The Sleeping Profit, and this book should not be included in theseries !

5-0 out of 5 stars spiritual kickstart
A delightful and easy read on the composition of the afterlife. What makes it of special value is the emphasis on the practical applications that we can make here and now on how to emphasize our spiritual priorities over our earthly priorities.Inspiring and motivational.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book on the Afterlife
I found this book to be an excellent source of information re: the afterlife. The author describes information that was received in various forms, such as near-death experiences, channeling & after-death communication, and draws heavily on many Edgar Cayce readings.

Many important insights that were gained from those on the Other Side are discussed, including: 1)Our thoughts become "things", and have a major effect on ourselves & others; 2)Where we find ourselves after death depends, at least in part, on our beliefs and how we choose to live our current life; 3)We are never alone - our loved ones and guides are always around us; 4)We are not seperate beings, instead we are all interconnected - etc...

I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the afterlife &/or Edgar Cayce readings.

I believe this book will be most helpful for anyone who is curious abouthis or her past-life history. ... Read more
