Worth reading if you want an overview of the Seth material
If you are looking for a condensed and easy to read take on Seth material and the writings of Jane Roberts, this book is to Jane Roberts what Gary Renard's DU is to ACIM.

Really good book for those seeking change!
Change your mind and the way you see things and you change your life!
*Now, this book says much more than that, but that's the lowest level of what it offers. That alone is enough to change a man's life.
*This book just hit the right notes for me, after years of practicing various spiritual methods and getting distracted with Asian philosophies to match my Asian martial arts practice. One day, I had an insight/ inspiration in the matter... and this book made it all so much clearer for me when I found it about a year later.
*It's a shortened version of all the more traditional methods of consciously creating your own reality. It makes ritual more internalized, which means ordinary men/ women can afford it.
*I recommend the book. At the least, do like I did... go to your library and borrow it, make copious notes, and take it back. After a couple years or so, you may actually still want to buy it.

Too many predictable, self-serving anecdotes
This book is filled with story after story of how the author is able to achieve her daily goals by being in the right state of mind.
These anecdotes take up most of the book and I found them very predictable and not very inspiring.
Other than the stories, there are some Seth/Jane Roberts inspired insights that are worth reading or studying.
On the whole, there is way too much fluff that detracts from the content of this book.

This book creates a new excitement about living-day by day.
Dahl reminds us to be constantly vigilant with our thoughts and beliefs in order to create the reality we desire for ourselves.She does not claim to have discovered something new, but rather reminds those who are familiarwith the Seth material, and those who may not have yet independentlydiscovered it, that each of us is personally responsible for thecircumstances of our lives.I have consciously used some of the moresimple illustrations of creating what I choose to experience, and it works. We do create our own reality - NOW.

How to change your life.
As a science oriented person I can understand thecontroversy over some of the issues contained throughout this material. However, not only have I developed a renewed understanding of my "self",I am able tointegrate my understanding of "this" reality with that of whichwe have all forgotten. This book has given me the key to our forgotten system, and it is up to us as individualswhether or not we are willing toremember. Why not? This book is fantastic! Real life happenings:
1) In 1985, Mrs Jayshree Mande’s mother-in-law was diagnosed as having a brain tumour. She narrated her story. “My husband was working in Saudi Arabia at that time. Before leaving India he had told his mother he would come back during Diwali and meet her. Those were difficult days for me as I was working and staying alone with my two small children.
I remember the date this incident occurred. It was 14th June 1985. I woke up with a start at 3 a.m. to see my mother-in-law sitting on my bed. I said ‘mother, how come you are here at this hour?’ She replied ‘I have come to meet you and the children. When will my son come?’ I said he would be coming during Diwali. ‘It will be too late. I will not be able to meet him. I am worried about you and the children staying alone in this lonely place’. Saying this, she got up to leave. ‘Have a cup of tea’ I said. I went into the kitchen to prepare tea. When I came out five minutes later, there was no sign of her. The front door was bolted from inside.
Later that day, I went to my neighbour’s house and requested them to keep an eye on my children, as I would be going to Pune to meet my mother-in-law. Meanwhile the phone rang. It was my brother-in-law on the line informing me that his mother had passed away that night. I went to his house. My mother-in-law was lying on her bed in the same white sari with a pink floral design and green blouse that I had seen her wearing a few hours earlier. My brother-in-law told me that she had slipped into a coma earlier that night and had regained consciousness around 3 a.m. He had asked her if she wanted something to drink. She had said ‘no thanks, I just went to Jayshree’s house and had some tea’. She died a few minutes later.

An enjoyable and insightful read...
I found the book an absolute delight! It cleared and confirmed so much for me around the metaphysical vs. spiritual. The whole book resonated with me deeply. It also was a joy to hear of her life and passing in her own words. I highly recommend this book to anyone on the spiritual path and or who simply loved and felt a kinship to Diana in someway.

Clear, objective and well written
If you haven't read A LOT already about such subjects as: angelic influences, aliens and UFOs, death and near-death experiences, spirit communication and spiritual encounters, then your consciousness will surely be expanded by reading this. It is very well organized and beautifully written. The authors were obviously on the spiritual path exploring whatever they could find with an open mind and heart. They speak from experience and are incredibly adept at giving you a clear synopsis of the topic. I don't know about you but I like left brained books about right brained spiritual subjects. They pull it all together in a nice neat package.

I am grateful for the interviews of Dr. Peebles through the Channel, Thomas Jacobson. This Grand Spirit's description of what actually happens when a person Channels from both sides is fasinating and poetic. I really enjoyed the book.

The Sensitive
I was searching for some new books to read as I have recently been learning about Inter-dimensional travel, astral projection, and metaphysical elements. I came across this book "The Sensitive" ...read the keywords and thought I would give it a try. I just recently finished the book and it dealt with a lot of the things I've recently been learning about as stated above...a great fun and intriguing story for all of the family. I think the most delightful thing about the story is there is no conflict of any kind, but yet it still keeps you interested and intrigued all the way to the end.It leaves you with an impression that it would be great if our world could actually have something like this happen to it...and for those truly faithful and believer's...it's very easy to see that it can and will. I give it a 4.5 star rating...and will be looking for more books from this author.

By the way...it is also a beautiful love story about two people who are here on earth again, together, who are part of a great OCCURRENCE that will come to all of the world.

Actually, it is a Metaphysical Love Story that deals with Re-incarnation and Astral Projection that seems very Sci-Fi but with a great sense of reality to it. My wife is now reading the Book and she said she really likes it.

I recommend this Book to everyone and I recall seeing on the Credits that there is a Narrator, so I have been looking for the Audio Book...but cannot find it. Can anyone help?

Duelism revisited.
The premise is absurd, yet Adams tries to mix genuine scientific texts (like Tipler's and Penrose's)with his pseudo-scientific, New Age dream of the "afterlife."Trying to distance himself from religion--as if by renaming traditional religious premises will make them otherwise--Adams desperatly seeks a theory that will prove the "self" can outlive the body.But, no matter how romantic this idea may sound, and how much we would all 'like' to beleive in it, there is significant evidence that the "self," or counsciousnes from which the idea of "self" derives, is intimidly married to the functions of the biological brain; that once the brain stops functioning, so does counsciousness and therefore the "self."There IS no evidence for ANY mechanism that can explain how counsciousness can exist without a brain despite Adam's twisting of Physics and Chemistry to form his mishappened philosophy.This book only adds more fuel to the dumbing down of society and demenstrates that lay-folk aren't the only ones who lack critical thinking skills.

The book is an incisive analysis and speculation on the possibilities for all manner of life by the author, Dr. J. Robert Adams, that personality and memory can survive biological mortality. The mechanism for this conjectureis based largely, on physics as the scientists of the 20th century havedeveloped it. Adams work, in order to do this has defined mind and soulfrom a purely materialist point of view yet results in something thatclosely approaches the belief structures of many of the world's faiths. The work has quite a bit in commom with the writings of Hammeroff andPenrose, and the books Robot by Professor Hans Moravec, and Physics ofImmortality, by Physicist Frank Tipler. Interestingly enough, the workechos some of the philosphy by Philosopher Peter Forrest, in Australia.Adams goes beyond Forrest and provides a susincint possibility for postmortem existence. I like way Dr. Adams focuses on some comparativereligions and how his theory compares. Really worth a purchase. Seems likea robust hypothesis.

Ingtriguing, stimulating and easy to read.
Dr. Adams does a superb job of discussing a difficult, although tantalizing, subject, i.e., existence after death.His basic hyptothesis is that our memory is saved.Memory, he proposes, is transferredcontinuously to a point outside of our physical body where it is preserved. He suggests that this memory receptacal is an unseen world governed byquantum mehancial principles (he spares us the respective equations).Hishypotheseis concerns itself not only with memory but with that essentialingredient, consciousness, which is or can be available at the new site oftransplanted memory.

Dr. Adams is non-dogmatic.He leads his readeralong a path that is based on scientific principles and he doesn't seem toviolate religious concepts.He speculates a bit, but in a conservative,scientifc way.The reader is encouraged to help solve the riddle.He thengoes on with more concepts and suggestions that might prove to beclues.

I enjoyed reading Dr. Adams' "Surviing Death".The bookis easy to read and once started is difficult to set aside.Dr. Adams'style of writing is clear and crisp with an appropriate touch of humor hereand there. I enthusiastically recommend it.

Work of fiction
The story presented here has absolutely no credibility.It was obviously concocted by the author for profit-making purposes.The author tries to cater to everyone's belief system.Low energy fields and darkness in areas of the earth where mankind has disturbed the environment, the legitimacy of astrology, reincarnation, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists - it doesn't matter - everything is valid and ok.Little elf-like creatures peer at him from trees as he passes by them riding in a car, and then shyly disappear from view as he glances at them.Only now, decades after the alleged occurrence of this near-death experience, does he decide to finally tell anyone about it.Give me a break.What a crock of BS this book is!The author's gullibility expectations are an insult to the reader's intelligence. I can't believe he even found a publisher willing to market this piece of rubbish.If it's that easy, maybe I should also try to generate some cash by making up my own near death experience fantasy story.Don't waste your money being taken in by the other reviews on this book like I was.You'll regret it. I can find no explanation for those reviews other than they had to be sent in by the author, or friends of his.

Experience and Grand Purpose
Every now and then, something happens in a person's life that changes everything...
It could be anything; a promotion, an accident, blossoming love...or perhaps, a near death experience. Few of us fall into the latter. David L. Oakford is one of the rare individuals who does.

After years of carrying the effects of his experience, David chose to do what his conscience urged him to do. He wrote it down and made it available for others to read. It was in those days, years ago, when I found David's story online and read it in it's entirety. As I read his story, I often found myself comparing many moments to those which my Father had shared with me of his own NDE. David Oakford effortlessly recalls, in great detail, every moment of his soul journey, whereas my Father struggled through hazy recollection in bits and pieces that were broken and difficult for him to express. I found answers and comforting confirmation in "Journey Through the World of Spirit". David's story brought a greater understanding of how profound and life-altering a NDE can be for the person who has experienced it. But it does more than that.

David Oakford's journey, whether one believes it to be a bad trip or a Godsend, reminds us of our accountability and purpose. It dares us to think outside of the box and it reminds us we are never alone, regardless of the path we choose. It is profound, both in it's straightforward, honest simplicity, as well as in it's surreal complexity. David has shared his enlightenment with all who care to know and in that sense, he has invited us all to join him on his continuing journey, making it all part of our own.

I am proud to have been given the opportunity to know David and I consider him a special friend. I have thanked him for his courage and for the gift of his story. He opened my eyes, heart and soul to something I most likely would have otherwise missed.

Every now and then, something happens in a person's life that changes everything. "Journey Through the World of Spirit" was one of those moments for me.

Interesting Read
This is a short book, but quite interesting. The author's writing style is casual & enjoyable. There are many parallels between his experience and the experiences related in Michael Newton's books Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls. The information in this book rings true and provides good food for thought.
