A must have map for your adventure to Antarctica
This is a wonderful map of Antarctica and is a must have for any trip to the white continent. It has a large-scale map of the entire continent, a small-scale map of the peninsula, and a map of the Drake Passage. It was detailed enough for me to track our ship's journey along the western coast of the peninsula. Don't leave for Antarctica without it.

A great Rome street map
I looked long and hard for a good map for our trip to Rome. The Borch map is extremely detailed and easy to read, and the material is very sturdy and waterproof. I'm sold on Borch. I will definitely seek out their maps for future trips.

I NEVER RECEIVED THE PRODUCT.I CHOSE STANDARD SHIPPING.I FOUND IT AT THE LOCAL BARNES AND NOBLE BOOK STORE.THE REASON THAT I PURCHASED IT ON LINE WITH YOU WAS THAT EARLIER ON BARNES AND NOBLE DID NOT HAVE IT.

Maps of Rome and Florence Italy
This map will be great for upcoming trip to Italy. We are planning our daily excursions and the ways to get to our desired venues. We want to walk when we can but also want to maximize our visits with Rome's history. We had borrowed a map from friends and thought we were getting the same item but this map is a bit smaller even though it meets our needs. Check to be sure this is what you want if you are looking for a particular map. The description are multilingual which is also a great plus.

Don't leave your Rome hotel without it !
In the labyrinth of streets called Rome, walking without a map like this is like walking with a blindfold - You can walk, but your end-up where you didn't plan and have to rely on the locals, which are not very english-literate.
A laminated map is a must since you'll be puting it in and out of your bag doxens of times. A paper map will wear out very quickly.

Big London Street Atlas
AWESOME!Yes, this book is 8.5 X11" but it fit easily into a pocket in my messenger bag.My eyes aren't young anymore and I really appreciated the fact that I could read every street name without having to whip out my reading glasses.The maps are very easy to use and it gave me exactly what I needed to plan my own walking trips, make impromptu side trips and forays into the back streets of London.An invaluable tool for any traveler!

THE Best Maps You Can Buy, Period
I spend a LOT of time in DC - five weeks between March and June 2008 alone.I have seen every map brand known to mankind, and believe me, this is THE best DC map out there, bar NONE.

[The same is true of their other maps as well. I've purchased (8) Borch city maps, plus their US Interstate map so far and am completely impressed!I have several colleagues who agree their Manhattan and NY maps are also the best available.It's pretty much unanimous.]

Great Map! Best I've seen...
I have been to Beijing 4 times and took this map for my last 12 day visit. It was GREAT! Got me to all my meetings, Olympic events, and even my native friends were loving my Map! If only they could do more maps on every district in BJ, but then you would need a book. Worth every penny I paid! Thank YOU.

Best Beijing map available
In looking at maps of Beijing, my criterion was simple: "Does the map show the street where our hotel is located?" This was a challenge: the hotel we chose was a converted mansion on a narrow "hutong," or side street. The Borch map was the only one I could find that did - much, much more detail than any similar map - certainly vastly better than any of the free maps that hotels give out. Note that the current version is updated for the Olympics and does show the new Beijing Metro lines that are about to open.

Perfect!
During my 2 weeks in the Beijing area this map was indispensible!It's laminated, so it holds up great.The streets are labeled in pinyin (roman characters).This is perfect, since these days almost every street sign in Beijing is also labeled in pinyin (as well as Chinese characters).Almost every landmark you want to find is on the map in English as well as Chinese.

Subway lines and their stops are indicated (except the brand new line #5).The map makes it very easy to get around Beijing and even includes overlays with major places such as the forbidden city and summer palace.

Berndtson laminated map of Beijing great and durable!
During my ten day trip to Beijing The Berndtson laminated map of Beijing was indispensable.It is easily readable and has many of the best places to visit highlighted which made planning each day easy. Good (but not for Kingston!)
This map is a good overview of the island and is fairly accurate.However, beware: Although it is dated 2006, it was clearly made some time ago - many rural roads marked are hard to find because there are so many new settled areas on the island, and many perfectly passable routes exist that are not marked.Best to ask locals.The map of Kingston bears only a passing resemblance to the city on the ground - there is a whole bypass at teh eastern end of the city that is not marked, and many street names have changed. There is also a new (as in 10 years old) toward Gordontown that is hard to navigate with this map.If you are planning to drive in Kingston and don't want inadvertant adventures, get a newer map from a Gas Station in town. ... Another Super Map
Borch makes the best maps for traveling that ive ever ran across. Reason for buying this one was because we thought the Bahamas was gonna be the place for our next trip. Outstanding as they always are, ive got a few of them now and there all great to look at when planning your trip.
