Extractions: Each year we go on Pack Holiday. This year we stayed at Brettargholt, near Sizergh, Kendal. The venue is ideal for Levens Park which we always visit for a nature trail. Our theme this year was Winnie the Pooh. Contact: "Brown Owl" Judith Myers - 41245 Brown Owl' Judith Myers is District Commissioner for Guiding in this area. The Park House Appeal: We desperately need a suitable building to use for our activities and meetings. Guide and Scout Units have joined together to raise enough money to buy the old Junior School in Hawkshead (see picture at top of page). To do this we need £135,000 for the purchase and another £80,000 for modifications. Although this is a massive task, we think the effort is well worth while. (Charity No: 1077383)
