Extractions: Camp - During their journeys across the wilderness, the twelve tribes formed encampments at the different places where they halted (Ex. 16:13; Num. 2:3). The diagram here given shows the position of the different tribes and the form of the encampment during the wanderings, according to Num. 1:53; 2:2-31; 3:29, 35, 38; 10:13-28. The area of the camp would be in all about 3 square miles. After the Hebrews entered Palestine, the camps then spoken of were exclusively warlike (Josh. 11:5, 7; Judg. 5:19, 21; 7:1; 1 Sam. 29:1; 30:9, etc.). Camphire - (Heb. copher), mentioned in Cant. 1:14 (R.V., "henna-flowers"); 4:13 (R.V., "henna"), is the al-henna of the Arabs, a native of Egypt, producing clusters of small white and yellow odoriferous flowers, whence is made the Oleum Cyprineum. From its leaves is made the peculiar auburn dye with which Eastern women stain their nails and the palms of their hands. It is found only at Engedi, on the shore of the Dead Sea. It is known to botanists by the name Lawsonia alba or inermis, a kind of privet, which grows 6 or 8 feet high. The margin of the Authorized Version of the passages above referred to has "or cypress," not with reference to the conifer so called, but to the circumstance that one of the most highly appreciated species of this plant grew in the island of Cyprus.

(Original in all caps) To Whom it may concern: There have been reports surfacing from certain parties that I, Darrick Evanson (Troy Lawrence) am a Mormon. The rumors of me being a Mormon have been greatly exaggerated!!! In other words, Yes, I did write a book supposedly "FOR" the Mormon Church. However, all one needs to do to recognize my methods is to read the back cover of NEW AGE MESSIAH IDENTIFIED. On the back cover it says that I "played the part" of a New Age advocate after my conversion to Christianity. I even helped write several Pro-New Age articles. All this was for the same reason a Cop pretends to be a drug smuggler, or a spy pretends to work for the other side.

No more "dicking around." No more excuses. I have pills... my sleeping patterns should not be erratic. TIME TO GET MY LIFE BACK ON TRACK! a beautiful girl @ 19:19 EST by roy i was riding the U bus to franklin strret to eat. i couldn't decide where, and spent quite some time pondering where to eat. while i was waiting, a girl in this black sweater (she was wearing a hood or something) approached the bus stop. initially, i made no notice of her, but as soon as i saw her face... i went stupid. she was the most beautiful girl i have ever seen. not only was she plain gorgeous, she was also extremely cute and didn't have that bitchy attitude that most beautiful girls have. no girl i've ever seen has shit on her (in terms of beauty + cuteness). i saw across from her on the bus (on purpose, duh) and i used the window's reflection to stare at her beautiful face. i forgot i was trying to decide where to eat... anyway, she's the type of girl who you KNOW has a boyfriend... a hot one, most likely. anyway, as the story goes, i was wondering whether i should talk to her (i decided against it for reasons explained later), but instead, i just stared at her beautiful face. she had the most beautiful eyes, and great dark hair... ::sigh::

Fleming 1922 W Across the Monongahela opposite the town there is a wooded hill known as Kennywood and beneath this hill the army of General Edward Braddock halted on its march from the mouth of the Youghiogheny on the fateful day, July 9, 1755, and form this hillside the army marched with all the pomp and pageantry of martial arraydown to the river's edge and through the shallow waters of the Monongahela, past the deserted cabin of John Frazier, the trader, at the mouth of Turtle Creek, and debouching to the left, the veterans of many fields climbed the slight hill to t the ravines in their front. A thousand rifles blaze out and the warhoops from 700 red throats sound as the crack of doom. Braddock is immortal through defeat. Three days later with dying breath the fated warrior murmured to his faithful attendants: "Who would have thought it?" Today from these same heights, gazing across the placid river towards the scenes of slaughter of 1755, one can repeat the inquiry of the contrite general. We may consider his last words also: "Next time we shall know better," for the next time a British army came was November, 1758; then Forbes and Victoryand PITTSBURGH. With these remarks we may proceed to the story of Braddock's Expedition.
