amazing
the only available book of kenneth patchen's picture poems IN FULL COLOUR! It's the best north-american poetry of the 20th century, and as good, as a painter, as klee or miró... but not similar to them nor to anybody else. The best poet-painter since blake. It's a shame there is not a full edition of all the picture poems in colour. The available ones, in black and white, are really sad, dark and cheap... ... Read more

yep, that's right.
it's a book of his picture painting poems. they're good but i think i like halleluja anyway better. it contain's "something like the look after the last of the 5,000 singing leopards has gone safely by" and that's about the only way to describe the look he/she/it has. ... Read more
