Extractions: Okay people, before we delve, and I mean DELVE into the secret life of Lisa Jane Smith...I'd like everyone to take a moment of silence and reflect on her many works because there will be much, much reading. I'm going to cover every single books she's written from cover to cover. I'm only going to give a brief synopsis of each book...then I will attempt to cover every possible topic of discussion. Extractions: Lisa Jane Smith, or LJS, has written over 20 books for young adults some of which include: Night of the Solstice (1987), The Vampire Diaries (1991) trilogy, The Secret Circle (1992) trilogy, and her most recent, Night World (1996) series. In each of her stories, LJS covers different spectrums of supernatural ideas. Let me elaborate, in Night of the Solstice and Heart of Valor, she talks of Arthurian Legend, while in Dark Visions (1994) she writes about psychics and their various powers, and in The Forbidden Game (1994) trilogy, LJS makes reference to the use of runes which are used in some Norse cultures. LJS is fascinated with dreams and nightmares and much of her inspiration has come from her very own dream, and when she is in the middle of a dream and it is really good, she hopes that she'll remember it when she wakes up. I'm sorry but I won't be working on the page anymore unless something else comes out by L. J. or I just randomly get in the mood. Sorry! Lisa Jane Smith started writing in elementary school and has never been able to break the habit. She wrote her first published book while attending the University of California at Santa Barbara, after which she went to teach public school for several years. She has now written over twenty books for young adults. She still likes to encourage young writers to express themselves. While she makes no claim to psychic powers, she is firmly convinced that street lights go off at night when she passes. The author of such trilogies as "The Forbidden Game", she likes writing about the supernatural because it's a great forum for the battle between good and evil. She is looking forward to the millennium and wonders what the future will bring. She enjoys computers, mythology, walking in the woods at night, and animals. She lives in the Bay Area of Northern California where the "Dark Visions" trilogy is set, in a rambling house among the trees, and gets some of her best ideas sitting under the stars.

Then I got the internet. I love the fact the other people find her work as enchanting and magical as I do. After browsing some web pages I noticed something... there weren't any L.J. Smith message Boards! Oh no! Anyways, I searched and searched for an easy way to make one... Now, here you are, at my little creation!
